  • I think the Queen is a little bit pissed.

  • Comment removed

  • weird. the people at the very top complaining about bureaucracies like they are neighbors on the lawn. (oh, and Hi random pedo priest!)

  • Oh my god how funny they are all sound barking mad lol *apart from the Queen)

  • ugh, Reagan is such a stooge. Makes me embarrassed to be an American. Have a bit of decorum won't you.

  • @thewalrusaurus You must be proud now that your Obamanoid money will be used to wipe your arse under Obama

  • Snapping her fingers at a waiter is rude.

Who does she think she is?

  • @MisterJeffy The Queen

  • @MisterJeffy Hahahaha. The one person in the world who actually IS who she thinks she is.

  • QEII's voice is kind of loud...

  • @itsjustme2919 She's a powerful lady!

  • @adam4757 I know but you wouldn't suspect that. She seems so quiet and withdrawn and shy.

  • @itsjustme2919 I think she comes across like that when she's doing something very official or public. However when we see videos like this when it's a much more intimate setting and the filming is a "fly on the wall" style, see seems to be more relaxed and natural. This is probably her normal voice :)

  • The queen is a major diva. Along with Reagan, Nancy, and that random catholic priest.

  • She clicked her fingers at the waiter, what a fucking cunt.

  • *

Right at the end there when Queen Elizabeth says, "I think the next generation are going to have a very difficult time."

Wow, did she hit that on the nail or what?

    *

  • This is actually historically relevant. The Queen is slurring her speech due to having had a few drinks in relaxed company. This short clip should be seen by all in the UK as this will endear HM to all; the Maam is human!

  • Reagan should have asked for caffeinated, and should have drunk more of it. It's now proven to help prevent Alzheimers.

  • LOL. Coffee anyone!!!...with that Chris Farley movie.

  • interestingly, the queen was completely right, reagon was talking about things that are being discussed now with the current economic crisis and the queen says that the next generation will have an difficult time, it couldn't be more true.

  • just goes to show, the older, wiser generations who have been around longer know what is coming. These are 2 of my favorite historical figures in all of the world, love them both dearly.

  • Are my ears deceiving me? The Queen is talking with a Cockney accent!?

I haven't heard so broad a Cockney since I was in Soho.

    I

  • Oh no....is the Queen actually snapping her fingers to get the attention of the waiter at :25???

  • @punkinpie44982 If anyone has the right (or would be tolerated) to snap fingers, it's the Queen of a dozen countries.

  • nancy was mortified because the event wasn`t about her.

  • Poor Ronnie. The altzeimer's was already kicking in. I felt so sorry for Nancy. She looked mortified.

  • I watch this and smile and want to cry at the same time. I smile at seeing these great leaders all in the same place behaving so freely. I want to cry because of what's become of our societies and where our current leaders are trying to take us - tearing up our cultures and our achievements in their wake.

  • @bd1976 couldn't agree more. well said.

  • Reagan and the Queen.

    Two of my favorite people!

  • This was during the queen's state visit to the US in 1991. She visited FL and hosted FL dignitaries on her boat.

Presidents Reagan and Ford were among the guests.

  • @4sm2use Thanks for the clarification. That would have been May 1991. I was wondering the date too.

  • What occasion is this?

  • Nancy Reagan was more "royal" than the Queen!

  • That's because on this occasion, she had the good sense to keep her mouth shut.

  • I just love this, on so many levels!!!! Too too funny! Thanks, you so get it!

  • Long live our beloved Royal Family...

    GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!!

  • I love Gerald Ford's 'got trouble going through the airport' comments.

  • Ah yes, the ol' 'both parties are corrupt so why not elect the Repubs' argument. Good one!

And the ol' 'all poor people are lazy' routine. again, let's not do anything and make sure the rich get even more money thru lower taxes and laws which favor massive corporations - they're the ones who reallyneed help, right? The poor be damned!

The exact opposite of Christ's edicts - but that's what Republicanism is.

  • correction: repubs help the the poor stay poor by cutting programs that help them while running up the hugest deficits ever.

wherever did you get the idea that Repubs 'help the poor'?

  • reagan and nancy, both, look so dumbfounded and foolish next to the queen

  • How wonderful. A bunch of empty-headed dimwits commiserating about how the 'little people' are bankrupting democracy.

Amazing how craven, shallow and dull they are isn't it?

  • That's not what they're saying. Reagan says that bureaucracy is a problem and then Queen agrees before going on to say the way "things are planned", in other words, the bureaucracy, is bankrupting democratic countries. So they aren't decrying the 'little people' but the gravy train system.

  • No. Queen bemoans 'the way things are set up for people to grab'. Translating to Reagan's 'cut programs, cut taxes' credo, supposed to be economically sound, but leaving the little people in pain, with a massive deficit. Where'd the money go? To wealthy Repubs & their corporate friends. Which was the plan all along. The legacy of St. Ron.

  • No, they were talking about how beauracracy gets in the way from getting money directly to the needy. And Her Majesty is no right-wing conservative either, she and Maggie Thatcher didn't get much along

  • Seems the prime concern here is reducing bureaucracy - slashing goverment and taxes - rather than helping the needy: the desired end is really smaller government.

As though Reagan or any Republican was/is concerned about the needy! Good Christians that they are.

  • Reducing beauracracy, encouraging economic growth is the best way to help the needy...plus, charity begins at home- have you dedicated ur life to helping the poor? If not, perhaps you should wait before you criticize "heartless" Conservatives.

  • Nah. They slash social programs for the poor as they reduce taxes for the rich. supposed to encourage economic growth & save money? No. Reagan ended up with a huge deficit, tho not as big as the one Bush has now. It took Clinton to pay off the deficit & create a surplus.

/the Conservatives really only want to conduct a raid on the national treasury for the benefit of their billionaire corporate friends. At the expense of the needy.

  • 1)How effective are social programs? Did LBJ's War on Poverty win?

2)The 1980s was a period of huge economic growth after years of stagflation.

3)Billionaire corporations supply people with jobs, goods and services (like the internet which enables you to communicate w/people around the world)

    4) How do you propose to help the needy? If taxes were too high and discouraged wealth, where would money come from to help anyone? Would you be OK with gov't taking 90% of UR income to help the needy??

  • So massive deficits like the one Reagan ran up are good, huh?

Oh and by the way, billionaire corporations create their wealth using natural resources which belong to everyone, so spare me the "they supply people with goods and the internet, etc., so we must bow down and be grateful" stuff.

    What a slave mentality!

  • they did get along the media just played on it because the were both women of the same age.

  • I love watching Her Majesty engaged in ordinary conversation like this. I find her an immensely fascinating human being.

  • definately..its strange, i dont want to know more about anybody else.

shes the most informed person in the world. Not one other person has so many governments talking to her..its like they all go weak at the knees, i mean, it's THE QUEEN!

im so proud to have her as our head of state, its a shame she cant rule another 50 years. When the day comes i will personally cry my eyes out. I mean think about it, she has got to be the most recognised woman in the world.

    God Bless you Your Majesty!

  • What is this clip from??? Could you post more of this video series? I did not think the Queen allowed for the media to accompany her. Please, do post more!

  • oh my God thats funny! Gerald Ford: It's amazing how much metal they put in me, I need a card to get through security.

British guy: Well mine must be more deep seated than yours, my doesn't set it off!

    wow....wierd

  • i love the queen. she is so beutiful. and i love her accent. i wish i could e royalty like her

  • I like the Queen and Reagen very much, but Nancy.... Gosh... no comment. God save the Queen, God bless America

  • can you get full documentary movie about queen life pleaes and thank you

  • Well Reagan looks like the most intelligent person there with his beautiful voice, so charming. Nancy seems like the ice princess and the queen is adorable but seems to be making it upo as she goes tyring to think of someting intelligent to say next.

  • The queen seems a bit far removed from society.

  • The queen is so cute here. I love her accent, especially when she says "ordinary" and "obviously" :)

  • Really interesting to see such powerful figures in casual "water cooler" type conversation. It did seem like they were just being polite, which goes to show that even queens and presidents have to make awkward small talk!

  • USA and UK: One language, one heart, one destiny. God Save the Queen and Bless America.

  • this is why i love youtube! Where in the world did this come from? It's hilarious!

  • It's a scene from a BBC documentary inside look at a year in the life of the Queen. The doc is called 'Elizabeth R'.

  • Thanks! Unfortunately Netflix doesn't carry it. Maybe Amazon.

  • Nancy looks like a complete idiot standing between the two leaders.

  • What is Reagan talking about with Her Maj?

  • Thanks for this. We all need to keep laughing!

  • I love the videos that you have posted of the Queen in unscripted moments! Please post more, when you can.
