I read Mary Beth's book "Choosing to SEE" and it was so sad and beautiful.  I love this family so much and am so sorry for their loss of this little angel. I pray for them and for Will Franklin still.

It's awesome that they got so much of her on video in those 5 short years! This song really hits me because my son would have been turning 12 this coming April. He was stillborn at 41 weeks, and for a long time I felt like the world and everything in it became disconnected. My husband and I were already strong Christians and trusted that God was holding our son for us. Four daughters later, we all trust that we will see Joey again. Praise God, and God bless the Chapmans.

@chachris08 Yes, the three youngest girls in the family were adopted, and Steven and Mary Beth have three biological children as well. He is one of the biggest stars in the history of Christian music, and his two sons have now formed their own band and become rising stars as well. They are a very godly, and as you say, very good looking family. :)

Praise God for the Hope we have only in and through Him. We will die someday, and to know where we're going is the greatest comfort this life can hold. To the comment above, there is a God, there is heaven and hell. Its only by believeing in Jesus as Gods son though that we can one day live with Him. Dont deny this beautiful faith, so one day you can see this little girl face to face :) My prayers are with the family still.

She was accidently hit by a car her brother was driving

last may her brother was backing in and didn't realize she was behind the car, and he accidently rolled over her, and he thought it was a cone, or a toy or something when he felt something under the tire. so he kept backing, and felt it again, and shoe came screaming maria maria and there was blood everywhere, and he picked her up and ran her into the house and thinks he called 911 and they went to the hospital, and it is a long story, but she died. her cousin is one of my best friends.

we named our daughter after this song. We had just lost our son to a failed adoption and this song gave me strength. We lost our son on feb 18th 2004 at 6 pm. 2 months later our daughters birth mom called me and said I have been praying about this and this is your daughter! then on feb 18th 2005 at 6:13 pm our son came home and we were able to adopt him. I believe if we had not lost him we would not have adopted Hope. God can turn pain into blessings!
