Compared to Jackie's CD version of Mi Mancherai, the tempo here is too fast, and I think she was being rushed here. The CD to me is much more beautiful and has at lot more emotion and feeling with a slower pace. A hope the day will come soon, when Jackie knows as the star solo singer, that she is the Boss. That the conductor, orchestra, and all, are to accompany and supplement her, not visa versa. At that time, she can dictate to them, at what pace, and how she should be accompanied. (*-*)
She leaves us all speechless. The depth of the emotion is spellbinding, she just immerses herself in the music, and she just pours heart and soul into every note. I've seen some of the world's best opera singers including Pavarotti and they don't even come close to this sensational young lady. God always bless you Jackie Evancho.
@Laundis DF mentioned Con te Partiro should of been on her album. I agree and also Mi Mancherai, which both are on my JE top 5 list. I don't think all the songs for her 2012 album have been decided yet, and it would be great if both are on it. Actually, with the quanity of great songs she has already mastered, I think she could of cut 2 CD's in 2011. Your thoughts?

I like her on recordings better than hearing videos of her live, because you can hear her breathing into the microphone, which shouldn't be that noticeable. .
It is not Jackie's brain or vocal chords that make her a genius and prodigy and the world's greatest singer and performer. It is Jackie's Heart and Soul and every atom of Jackie's being that she sings with, and the Spirit of God singing through her.

Even though Jackie was reportedly under the weather for this performance...she was amazing. My wife has a phrase she likes to use to describe someone who has that certain something. She refers to the person as "the complete package". And that's what our little Jackie is...the complete package.
They should have professional to tape everyone of Jackie's concerts and have a special on tv after each one. I was going to see Jackie live in Vegas but I became sick and couldn't go, it broke my heart. The next one close to me I will get there if I have to be taken in an ambulance. I so want to see her before she grows up. I can't think of anything in my 68 years that I have seen or done that would give as much closing as to see little Jackie sing live.

I've enjoyed Elvis, Willie, Bob Wills, Sinatra, StevieRay Vaughn, George Jones, The Beatles, etc,, but you could wrap all the joy I've gotten from all of them, and it would not compare to the Joy I get from Jackie. IMO, Jackie IS, the greatest singer and performer, for she penetrates your very soul.

@MrGlenn49 Actually we could say that, but she has said on an interview (I don't remember wich one - I have all! ) that she sings in other languages "barely knowing the meaning of the words". I interpret that as she's not able (yet) to speak in that language, but it seem that somebody must have explained her the meaning of the lyrics. Seems logical and it's not so difficult. Anyways: there's nobody more lovely, adorable and so amazing like Jackie. For the first time in life I love an artist.

She does not speak or understand different languages...which is why she is so unique because she sings as if she understood every single word. Jackie recently states that she does not understand every single word in a song but only the general idea and theme. Her emotional connection to the song is innate and that is why I think she is gifted and why she is a prodigy !!

@davekanak Yes. Pretty Amazing. And equally amazing is the fact that she does not have a vocal teacher and her technique and diction are pretty much self taught. She has no vocal teacher other than her Mom and Yvie who coach her on singing safely. The emotion / passion are her own contrivance. So here we have an 11 year old who is being compared to the best singers across several genres and who has little or no professional training...a true prodigy !

This the class act of all class acts. Apart from her fantastic musical interpretation which is in its self is perfection personified, the emotion, the passion is stupendous. Why this concert was not recorded in it's entirety is an absolute shame. This was history in the making and apart from the generosity of those that individually recorded these clips we would have missed seeing this wonderfull little angel perform. This is my favorite song of hers and has been since I bought the deluxe edition of her CD "Dream with Me". You have to get the deluxe edition to get the four extra songs; and this is one of them. I would really love to see her sing this on the Tonight Show one day. She is just so amazing and wonderful to listen to!!

Could be any one or more of the following reasons :
1. Schedule conflicts - DF and JE are both busy with their own things.
2. Change of direction - DF and JE may not see eye to eye on what the future should be for Jackie - Not saying that's the case but could be.
3. Cost - DF is not going to be cheap and he isn't going to produce an album for free. That could also be an issue for JE team.
4. Change of music genre - They may not agree on what genre Jackie should sing.

she sounds nice when she sings the higher notes, but i keep wanting to turn up the volume when she goes low.

How I wish, that someone will upload her DWM of Mi Mancherai!........... I wan't to read all the comments when it does. This the most powerfull of all Jackie's song in DWM, you can really tell on her body language. This is the song that showcase Jackie's voice and technicality.

This is my favorite song of hers and has been since I bought the deluxe edition of her CD "Dream with Me". You have to get the deluxe edition to get the four extra songs; and this is one of them. I would really love to see her sing this on the Tonight Show one day. She is just so amazing and wonderful to listen to!!

Someone who took a picture was almost thrown out.Your video is truly an early christmas present .Im writing this to you with tears running down my face.I was in the front row. 5 feet away from Jackie. @My7571 As far as I can recall: 'I'll be Home for Christmas', 'The First Noel', 'Believe, 'Imaginer', 'The Lord's Prayer', 'When You Wish Upon A Star', 'The Prayer' (duet with Chris Dallo), 'Angel', 'All I Ask of You', 'To Believe' ... I'm not sure if I missed a song or two ('A Time for Us') . Perhaps someone who also saw this concert would edit my list? :) Chris Dallo sang, 'O Sole Mio', then his duet with Jackie, and one more which I don't quite remember. :)
