It corrects itself as new evidence becomes available. Scientists don't believe anything to be 100% certain based on their own faith, they observe ALL evidence available and create a most likely scenario based on that evidence. No absolutes.

Science speaks of evolution and multiple theories of an ever expanding universe where as religion for the most part, claims God(s) created everything. They offer entirely different explanations of how existence came to be. I am sorry but they are quite different in just about every possible way. Take a few philosophy classes on world religion.

To get me to believe in a god, you'd have to have him appear in laboratory conditions and do some repeatable and objectively verifiable breaking of physics. I'd consider the sun stopping in the sky sufficient, if others also saw the same phenomenon. That would convince me a god was real. If it's the God of the Bible, we can then proceed in trying to kill it. Cars probably count as iron chariots.
