I really like Fun a lot. But Queen is my favorite band and i am extremely picky over covers. I was terrified when I clicked on this. It admittedly was the best cover I have heard, but I think people should leave the brilliance of Queen music alone.

No, he doesn't sound like Freddie. NO ONE DOES OR EVER WILL. But does that mean he isn't a great vocalist in his own right? Absolutely not. For the record, Nate is a pretty damn great vocalist.

Both Queen and fun. are easily in my top favorite bands, and I think fun. are perfectly capable at covering Queen songs. Naturally, I love this cover. :D

Love the arrangement, as good as it gets for R-Gaga in a low-fi OTT environment. Vocally it's whacked - on good day Freddie made you think about the lyrics (i.e. Live Aid), on bad days he used the lyrics to interact with audience. Here it's just rushed, breathless passion de rigeur of indie?

Right, i understand you want to show your love of Queen by covering them, but you are just not big enough. Even the big bands struggle pulling off other big bands covers... and no offence, but you are murdering this. A lot of people joined in when they was touring with Paramore, but i guess its cause not much of the audience is Queen fans, you would of got slaughtered anywhere else. Please dont cover any other queen songs. I realise no-one will agree with me but its the truth.

Fun.is a band, a very GOOD band regardless of how 'big' (im guessing your defining that as having mainstream radio/mtv success since you referenced Paramour) and they will cover who ever they damn well please. maybe it was all the shit music you've been listening to thats been messing with your ears, but ive seen them live and FUN. is OUTSTANDING!! vocals instumentals, they put on a great sounding EXCITING show.

And although clearly you love them, when i saw them, the crowd around me were booing, saying they were s**t. My point is that how 'big' they are/ the amount of mainstream radio/mtv success they have doesn't determine who they're 'allowed' to cover.i mean if that's your deal,have fun busting into karaoke bars and flipping out.I think people draw the similarity to Queen through their theatricality, and the mood they set in certain songs.I definitely see that connection in songs like Be Calm.And, not sure why you saw paramore. they'e dogshit
