@bigbeing Are you still in Japan my country, who is "2007wien" and posted here the comment last Summer. So did I get surprised much to see no choir neither the storm in the YouTube. I used to be in it with a blue robe. " For we are God's fellow workers;you are God's field ,you are God's building."(1Cor.3:9) Invisible God shall be with you. Wherever you are, whatever you face to, or whenever you should stay alone, you would have someone to be your neighbour, to share. In Prayer for you. M.Joy
@bigbeing Oh, no no no, we get around 1,000 people coming every Sunday. The choir don't exist anymore because the church has shed any vestiges of tradition that once existed. It's all music groups and guitars now.
@CCFHymns That's so sad to hear! If that happened to my church I'd leave and find a hymn-singing Church. This is no criticism of any decision on your part to stay at your own Church, but it's so important to me that I'd do that. I'm not an old guy, just 38. I'm spending a little time in Japan right now on my own, and one consolation that I have in this lonely time is my small Methodist hymn book which I take to the park and quietly go over the hymns to myself. Praise his Holy & Majestic name.
His Grace be upon all !! I 've sung in the choir at this church in 1977-78, that was my high school time. God bless the organist David Pattinger who has played the great pipe organ at Fulwood ever since before my stay from Japan. There I met Jesus, then who just brought me the lovely Gift of peaceful live sound of the congregation on YouTube ! Our God is immortal, invisible but always loves us at every corner of the world, and yet spiritually visible to us. With my prayer, Amen. M.Joy

Is there no longer a choir because of a decline in Church membership? Blessings, I hope all goes well for your Church. Praise God Almighty!!
