  • Holy fuck.....Seth McF(idc)ne is an athiest...who cares??? Buy Home Depot!!!

  • best. simply the best.

  • I love this album, so melodic.

  • @MrGuitardude445 If you want a really melodic album, listen to "The Jester Race" from 1996, or "Whoracle" from 1998 (If I'm correct).

  • @vincentjurg lol i know about those i'm just saying i like this album.

  • @MrGuitardude445 Yes, but you also said this album was "So melodic", and it isn't as melodic as those two albums. I really hate the new stuff, but this and "Trigger" are pretty good.

  • @vincentjurg true new in flames seems to be going more metalcore and there just something different about their new album even though i like deliver us.

  • This song is so god damn awesome.

It makes my days so much more easier and thanks to this I am capable of pushing myself more and more during trainings!

    IN FLAMES WE TRUST!

  • This is my favourite song by In Flames. Has such a dark good feeling in it.. Too bad they have NEVER done this song live! :(

  • I honestly prefer Soundtrack to your escape because its just generally an awesome album.

  • i prefer slipknot

lol not really im just trollin

  • 10 people need to go get fucked by a 18 inch dildo...

  • beautiful song. i feel like playing legend of zelda for some reason.

  • Loook closley at the title,

    Closer.

    Now think about "Majora's mask"

    Got it? If you do,reply.

  • @234689ify off course I do. 72 hours remaining :)

  • I honestly like this album. What I don't care for is their latest. It's just not my thing.

  • They make acoustic badass. Thats a new one ;)

  • I just turned 18 when I listened to this album, and first heard of In Flames. The years just following my discovery turned into a transformation, both emotionally and spiritually for me. Without In Flames, I'd have no connection to that time, no way to understand what I went through, and to know that countless others have had similar experiences tied in with very important years, changes, and music.

  • Well. Ask yourselves. What the fuck is emo? What the fuck does emo even mean? Emotional? Yes emotional. I assume we all have emotions so the word "emo" just doesn't fit anywhere. Jeez.

  • @kingnothing189 I mean we all write music based on our emotions.

  • @kingnothing189 i know i always hated people that say their emo because ive been through some bad shit and had my share of horrible depression and mental breakdowns and it perplexes me to no end to think that it's cool to be depressed for no reason. i really fucking hate people that label themselves.

  • @jimmy134496 don;t get me wrong mate, I'm just saying that we all, inevitably have been through bad moments and shit and etc, and some of us dicide to compose it into music. I don't label anyone at all. And lastly, thank you for your patient and calm response. That's how topics should be discussed.

  • @kingnothing189 agreed. im just saying, we all have our problems, but you shouldnt fake them to be cool, wich is pretty much what an emo is in my eyes since most people try to hide real depression.

  • @jimmy134496 Yeah, true. But then again you sometimes have the urge to put your emotions or thoughts or whatever into music, lyrics or whatever. In my case, I don't want anything of those published. They are my own feelings and no one should misunderstand them. As for the emos, yeah. I'm just saying about the word "emo" alone. It doesn't make sense. We all have emotions. Be them bad, good or anything. If you are happy it doesn't mean you don't have emotions. So the word shouldn't exist at all.

  • @DarkLink9891 man, think this:if Picasso remained at his first style,a very very realistic one, with a lot o anatomy, perspective and so on,did he ever became what it is now,the greatest cubist artist?it is the same in the Brancusi case or other artists, they ve tried to create their own style, for that to be recognized by the posterity.I think you remained on your Death metal world and never can escape from there.Sorry,it is just an observation, dont take it like an offense.

  • @ASPACARDI Yeah, you're totally right!

  • @DarkLink9891 I have something serious to say. What the f*ck you are doing here: you don't like the Reroute to remain album so get lost. You are the one who is the offender--> so leave instead of calling IF emo or you will get 10 bans in the future because 90% of the viewers here, agree with me.. .

    Disconnected is a decent song....

  • @DarkLink9891 Because I'm not yet mature by age stupid morron, but you should be mature by now since your'e 7/8 years older like you said earlier, dumb piece of shit. You talk yourself out of everything dumbhole.

Thats bullshit they contribute a hell lot as one of the biggest representers of music out of Sweden... Lol, they got popular after Clayman, not earlier...

  • @DarkLink9891 No, I have no complaints to Jespser. I didn't mean sarcasm with 'oriëntational'; I meant that the first 3 years of their existence didn't count because In Flames was only a part-time project for Jesper (and maybe also Glenn and Johan). But when he finished the songs and after he recorded it with his fellows(Glenn and Johan) in 1993/4 it all began when LS came out ofcourse.. tjeez ur stupid. I sure don't care what you say..I also listened to tons of other bands but I'm just younger.

  • @LordLuc94 Wait, but if YOU call In Flames emo, what do you call Tokio Hotel then??..-_-

  • @DarkLink9891 ROFL & LOL-->calling In Flames emo is like saying that youtube-comments about Justin Bieber are mostly positive. XD

And dude,.... R2R and for sure Clayman are still being loved by the people who prefer the earlier work of In Flames...because it is part of it.. This when you split their years of existence= 17 years exactly (if you don't count Jespers 'oriëntational' years' 1990-1993 ). 1994+8,5= 2002,5. (1/2)

  • @LordLuc94 ...so yeah I see it as math because I don 't like to draw lines. Cause IF is still melodic but not in that unusual Lunar Strain sound. The sound has changed because they went into the 21th century. 4 me LS is weird cause it is something that is from before my age, because I got attracted to the band by accidentelly downloading Bullet Ride on limewire while I was searching for something. I couldn't recognize myself in this album because I was attracted by something more modern.

  • @LordLuc94 ...in first instance. But now I can respect it and just see that they have developed in the past 20 years without getting commercial or something. I like Sense of a purpose just as much as Clayman!

  • I love this song. I love In Flames.

  • ...emo? Who the fuck said that? In Flames is NOT an emo band. You can say that how much you want but it's empty words, In Flames is a band with meaningful lyrics. Emos talks about their issues and whine and boo fucking hoo. Nobody cares about shit like that, THIS is real music.

  • @FrankBlocc Yeah, if In Flames is emo, then the United States is a safe country to live in.

  • @ComradeNF And Swedish men in their 50's are not blindly racist.

  • Comment removed

  • @FrankBlocc Damn yeah.

  • Non of you know shit about emo, how it started or where it came from. Nubie ignoramus metal heads and trend setting wanna be's just exploded and fucked the hole thing up with out really knowing anything about it. I would actually say that the singer is a little emo, and he does whine about heartbreak, if that's what you wanna call it...

  • @usynthesis so you're basically saying that EVERY song that is sad is also emo? Everyone gets sad every now and then. It is you who is ignorant if you think that only emos get sad when they lose someone or get into some major trouble. Emos usually whine about how world hates them and how they hate it

  • @FrankBlocc if that words would be emtpty you shouldt rage about it than

  • @FrankBlocc But please emo is a fine line (and shitty). Don't cut yourself. (Que to NBC's "the more you know")

  • If you cant like a metal band if they put out a couple acoustic songs you just simply dont like music...i think every metal band should have some acustic songs

  • this song is beautiful, i love how he combines the singing with scream singing in the refrene

  • 8 People fell to madness!

  • Siema wbijać do mnie :) 194.24.174.194:27021 NS'y mile widziane :)

Lapki w górę jak się podoba :)

  • this for me is one of their best songs. Love the acoustic guitars. BTW the only IF albums I don't like is the ones before Anders and the Sounds of a playground fading.

  • What's wrong with this song ? It's great ..

  • I...I cove tracks like this...

  • great song

  • Isn't there a song on their new album called "A New Dawn"?

  • @nir085 ya.

  • This is how In Flames should always be,i don't have *trust* in them anymore. Even less now with the new album

  • how come this album takes 3 years to come to the stores in sweden?

  • simple... i love it!

  • nestolgia!

  • clayman is def not the best album i played the shit out of that album but jester race and whoracle are hands down better than that album. but its a great album.

  • clayman is def not the best album i played the shit out of that album but jester race and whoracle are hands down better than that album. but its a great album.

  • this song helps me in different times.......thank you In Flames \m/

  • Usually I hate songs with accoustic guitars made by metal bands...except this one...

  • This band sucks dick.

  • @viletree If you don't like them why do you watch this video?Go and find something else to do.And if you insult the band you'll be insulted back by their fans , so shut up and shoot yourself! ;)

  • @viletree

    fuck off :)

  • @viletree Well if you weren't molested as a child, you would see that this is in fact the best band out there.

  • @AdventdevKreeper No not really.

  • @viletree then fuck off youtube

  • @viletree You suck dick

  • 2:33 where he says "I'll rise, I'll rise, I'll rise" is fuckin ..... I can't even describe it ..

  • srsly... what album is best or not.. we will never agree on that..

its a mattter of taste and taste is individual, and this counts for all music..

something u can put a finger on is how skilled and how well a song is performed both lyrics and melodies :) and what In Flames does realy well is all the lyrics and harmonies

it is so unique and incritable magical

i find this very song realy binding and just as perfect as everyting else they've done

In Flames we Trust - Denmark (31/05 2011)

  • I get goosebumbs every single time i listen to this song \m/

  • in addition, in flames creativity is unmatched. they are a versatile band and utilize all their talents. it is not to be ridiculed but to be praised and acknowledged. they are extremely talented and i have not heard a single song of less quality than the last.

open your minds to new ideas and embrace that which is surreal. In Flames with forever and always be my favourite band due to the fact that they are so well equipped and have a VAST amount of talent.

That is my piece. do what you will.

  • i have no favourite album, they are my favourite band. i favour EVERY song \m/>.<\m/

  • Acoustic, electric....In Flames can do it!!!

  • I think the in-flames fans are quite disappointed by this album. It's ok. Usually metal-heads can't cope with acoustics, quality production or experimental tastes.

No really, keep your perspective as narrow as possible ;)

  • @dogauslu I was dissapointed when it first came out just because it was different for them. I feel like jester race, colony, whoracle, even clayman are all better but this album is growing on me again after a while.

  • @dogauslu I don't have any real problems with R2R. I've got problems with the laters albums. Soundtrack still had songs that were really powerful live, Come Clarity really started the downhill slope with a few good ones here and there. Now, it's hardly even metal anymore. It's more like prog rock. They're aren't the In Flames I grew up with and learned to love anymore.

  • @dogauslu

i'm a huge in flames fan, since i was about 10 years old, and i love all their albums, both old and new

  • @dogauslu This is my favorite album of theirs.

  • @dogauslu i agree that some "metalheads" are damn narrow minded and even dislike this without giving it a single listen...but in my case,i gave this several chances.and it's not that i don't like acoustic parts,i actually really dig acoustic parts in metal songs, but not in the way they're presented here.as for clean vocals,i regularly have no problem with them, but i hate the way Anders sounds here,i prefer his "pre Colony" vocals, deeper and more blended with the overall sound.

  • @serjdd For me i like his colony and after vocals, so much cooler and more diffrent!

  • @serjdd annoying isn't it? how the so called "metalheads" think that the good metal music has to have only growling and screaming all the way through the song and how they don't even want to listen to a sound of acoustic guitar. I personally like this song pretty much but that's a matter of taste

  • @dogauslu You kidding ?

A Sense of Purpose and SOAPF were really disappointing ...

    They jelly ?

  • @dogauslu no u are so wrong this is the best album in flames ever done (atleast i think)

  • We TRUST in In Flames.. please go back to the start nd make some songs like the old one's

hope that you're getting better again..

that's not the IN FLAMES wich I know...

  • @TheLittleFighter Unfortunately If they made every CD the same, they would begin to be boring. Stuff like this is them testing out different styles, and well just being an artist (making music) Which is WAY better then any of the stuff put out on the radio.

  • R2R is a great album anyway

  • how some people can choose the I DON T LIKE button

  • Comment removed

  • In Flames was one of the first bands EVER to experiment with Clean/Screamed vocals. They are the forefathers of metalcore!

    Brillant fucking song!

  • In flames are the shit!!!!!!

  • this song is pretty sick never heard this part of in flames but i shall keep listening for further rockasms.

  • This and "Metaphor" were the only tracks I ever cared for from this album.

  • @Timetakesusall Sorry, I do have to add on though that this song is in my top 5 of theirs. I love everything from Lunar Strain to Clayman. But after Reroute, the lack of acoustics really killed a lot of my passion for In Flames work. This was their last "solid" effort in my opinion. Not trying to piss people off, just giving my two cents like everyone else.

  • @Timetakesusall hopefuly there new album would be better

  • @DjentFoxProductions It's called Sounds of a Playground Fading and is set for release in May or June. If you didn't already know. In Flames we trust from Alaska

  • @bbeboutuaa i already knew all that, i just hope its going to be better than sense of purpose

  • In Flames, I bow to you !

  • this band is amazing. everysong is great.

  • i like their older music better like like lunar strain and jester race they sound more melodic and heavier

  • sad ._.

  • @camstr hell yeah buddy

  • ahh, so relaxing.

  • you know i use to be picked on and pushed around alot by assholes and i would sit there and just take it abuse after abuse after abuse and one day i stood up and i said its time for a fucking change and ever since then none of those people even try to fuck with me and this song personifies it soooooo much against the grain against the odds ill rise and i won't trip again the dawn of a new day never looked as good as this!

  • @trex6321 Good for you! =)

  • Eargasm

  • whoracle was great too...

  • This album is a masterpiece. Hands down.

  • Woooooooooooooooooooooooooah this shit is amazing.

  • i listened to reroute to remain for a few days after an incredible trip with the girl i love ... it holds a special place in my heart and always will... people trash it because they don't understand... that's the only reason... they just don't understand...

  • I actually think this was there best album. They really experimented with their harmonies in this one and it worked to near perfection. I dont know what is going on now though. Its like they ran out of new things to do and just decided to keep it simple. I wish these guys would just shock everyone and pick up where this album left off.

  • a band that has rarely deep lyrics, they appeal straight to ones heart. I simply adore them

  • @FiestaAFX I assume you mean "really....not rarely???? I love Ander's lyrics....well up til come clarity. From there they didn't quite seem as metaphorical and deep...but rather more direct and to the point. I find lyrics are always better when they don't say exactly what they intend...but rather make you think....make you dig to find the meaning....and therefore leave it open for different interpretation. More people can apply it to their own lives when it makes you think

  • When you rip on this album, you've basically registered yourself as a babytoucher.

  • Amazing chorus!!!!

  • I love this song!

  • how do you have ads on this video?

  • love this song!!!!!!!

  • I'm so confused. On the picture of the album here, it says "Fourteen Songs of Conscious Madness" but on the video for the song Reroute to Remain, it says "Fourteen Songs of Conscious Insanity." Which is it supposed to be?

  • Honestly, In Flames isn't really for me... but this song fucking rules!

  • this song deserves 10 million viewings

  • " I won't trip again" I won't trip again? what does that mean.....

  • @Theconfession8730 "i wont trip again" i.e. I wont fall again? i dunno.

  • @Theconfession8730 it could be the tripping, like falling, in which he says he doesn't want to make some mistake again, but thats only my interpretation :P

  • Defiantly my favorite song of theirs

  • GREAT!!!

  • I rise! I rise! I riiiiiiiseeeee!!!

    Damn. Automatic erection

  • these guys write some beautiful fucking music!!!!!!

  • In Flames we trust !

    =-FINLAND-=

  • In Flames We Trest ~ Germany

  • I love that song. I can't stop wondering if the lyrics have a double meaning.

I close my eyes and I can almost feel an ironic tone in the singing of 'I'll rise and I won't trip again'.

Seems like he does not mean it, he perhaps wishes for it, he unattainable goal of getting up. The whole song bears words of complete pessimism and fear, so this meaning would make sense.

Still, I hear it every time I feel down. Thanks Flames!

  • @thap8tient get lost

  • I freakin' love this song - just remembered it from the past - listening again is amazing... great stuff....

  • @Sinbadovic same here, reminds me of swedish meadows in silhouette when I was out in the swedish archiphelagos 3 years ago, good times :)

  • Underrated song, stop hating on reroute. Sure Clayman was their best album i wont argue with that, but reroute to remain comes in a STRONG second place.

  • @frag1ouye Ok i dont even think Clayman is their best ya its Very good....but their best are The Jester Race and Colony.....even Whoracle was Better i think.....

  • @garryOBJ I think this is their best album

  • @Headbangerinheaven Its a great album.....but i think they have made better....come on now no way this beats Colony,Whoracle,or The Jester Race or even Clayman.....

  • @garryOBJ Why discuss something which is clearly subjective? You won't get anywhere with it. Personally, I think Whoracle was their best album, but it's not like I force that view on other people. And neither should you.

  • @frag1ouye nja, i personally think a sense of purpose is the best, clayman is at least one of the top 5... IM SO FUCKIN EXITED FOR THE NEW ALBUM!!!!

  • @OnlyForInFlames oh oh I'm not that one who hate on the new song but I only like the chosen pessimist from a sense of purpuse, but good, one is my opinion and one yours...

  • @untoterschurke The Chosen Pessimist is a true piece of art. \m/

  • @frag1ouye The Jester Race !

Reroute comes in on a far place, but it's an In Flames classic !

  • @frag1ouye I honestly like Reroute better than Clayman.

  • @ComradeNFReviews me too

  • @frag1ouye

I personally thought either colony, soundtrack to your escape or jester race were their best. Eh who am I kidding, they have no bad albums.

  • @frag1ouye

actually no, colony is 1st. reroute would be 3rd or 4th. but that is just personal taste.

  • @frag1ouye Hating? Ha! It's my favorite album out of any band!

  • @frag1ouye whoracle got better ratings than clayman tho. but, i love all in flames albums.

  • @frag1ouye no i think that this is thier best but every one has thier own opinion

  • @frag1ouye my favourite In Flames albums are Reroute to Remain and A sense of purpose

  • @frag1ouye agreed, reroute to remain is honestly my favorite album by inflames...

  • IN FLAMES WE TRUST!!! U.S.A.

Was fortunate enough to be shown this band just recently!
