Just picked up a Medusa. Great video. Any idea where to find the translucent flippers? Someone prior to me switched to regular ones. That playfield looks great! Im considering a cpr.
@pinballdan Yes they are. Xenon is a good game. I'm a big fan of Centaur although I don't own one. Medusa was a fun game. I sold it to a friend of mine. He also owns a Centaur among others. :)
Man this brings back memories, about 22 years ago my brother and I were send to a PGL camp and this was in the games room. I always remember the time your shot sentence and i just had to phone him and play that down the phone to him!
wow, one of my all time favourites, looks absolutely mint condition for a machine about 25 year old, was always great to have a good last ball and make the end of ball bonus really humm, what a buzz :p
im still looking for added in my pinball collection , but here in this country when broke many operator sale again and ship to usa so here today can find no more of 3 medusa in all country ...i really love and i have a lot of good memories playing this great machine ..ihope find one in the future im still looking
My dad had this pinball alongside a Bally Space Invaders and a Williams Elektra at one point in my childhood (must have been early to mid 90s when I was nearly 10) and seeing this video brings back a lot of memories standing on a dining chair to see over the machine and play.
God POV, and everything is crisp, lit, and the sound is 100%. So you selling it then?. First machine I played that I got a crowd around, and beat the high score..quite an acheievement for being 10.
The hypnotic top board sample, in the mini area, is something I still hear today. But I've noticed the top set of red lights in a line..what do they represent?.
Nice to see a Medusa with original flippers installed, and pop caps to match.
Thanks for your comments. I'm not selling it at least at this time.
The red lites represent the bonus from hitting the drop targets in the top playfield. If you hit the red square target behind the center drop target it will take away some of the bonus.
