@Sadetree gm never built the high mobility multipurose wheeled vehicle (hmmwv) its always been built by amgen all gm has built was the hummer truck which was way heavier and less capable and an m35a2 ways only about 4000 lbs more then the humvee at (m35 11000 lbs vs hmmwv 7000lbs) as far as durability im sure the army didnt choose humvee's because of there shitty quality ...i currently own a duece bobbed with 52's and 5ton axles but ive always wanted a humvee too for less demanding days

Enjoyed the video....drove these all over South Korea thru snow, mud, rivers...with chains it's a go anywhere machine. I had to pull a dead M48 tank out of the country side one time. Great trucks
