@themtaknowitall Well I don't know what to tell you. It doesn't matter if they a short block from each other you can't do a subway to subway transfer unless its a free transfer with your Metro-Card, so I guess they made Park Place so you can have a free transfer to the 8th Avenue Line and PATH since its a shorter walk to the PATH. If the answer doesn't satisfy you then you need to do the research yourself. I don't have the answer to everything in the subway system!
