  • There are a lot of ways to produce electricity in a car even just driving down the road. Scientifically there's no reason why you should even have to recharge that often.

  • I want to get a Metro or Cavalier, probably a Cavalier, to conver to run on COMPRESSED AIR!!! No chargin nessicary

  • I LOVE Electric Geo Metros! Of course I am biased, because I have built one.

He's right though. Anyone can do this. It's not rocket science, just good clean fun that anyone can do!

  • Electric POWAH!!!

  • good job kid all we need is more teen coming up with good ideas is your world i would love to help fix

  • Rubbish. While it may look impressive on paper, it's no more eco friendly than a thirty V8. You know batteries fall out of the sky? All the carbon that gets dumped into the air by heavy machinery that are mining the raw materials for the batteries isn't an improvement. It's just as bad if not worse.

  • @KaraniKun Yes the batteries demand energy to produce so does the parts of conventional cars (that frankley also has a battery). You must also take into account that it also demants lots of energy to drill and refine oil which can only be used one time upposed to batteries which can be charged several times before expiring. You clame someone is wasting resources by converting an old car that would otherwize be scraped into an electric car at a low budget, That is crystal clear Hypocrisy!

  • @KaraniKun - Oh, so I guess gasoline does fall out of the sky then? It is not fair to talk about the pollution that goes into making a vehicles fuel (in this case electric) if you don't also compare the pollution that goes into making the gasoline car's fuel.

  • @adric22 Amen to this!!! everyones using making electricity against electric cars because thats all they can hold against it. but everything takes energy to make. just like this person said gas dnt just fall out the guy. its has to be processed and everything before you can just put it in your vehicle. so basically at the end of the day electric is still the way to go. not to mention electric cars have way! less parts than internal gas cars. talk abotu saving the planet!

  • @KaraniKun You're Wrong the emissions Are Far Cleaner with an electric even after taking into account the possibility that the electricity came from a Dirty Coal Powerplant & the batteries being mined!!! an added bonus to the electric is reduced slavery to Arab Oil! the US uses 20% of the worlds oil but has less than 2% of the worlds oil reserves...that means some Foreign Fat Sporkers have us by the Kidneys!!! P.S. Electricity doesn't have to come from polluting sources...Gasoline Pollutes!!!

  • I bet even with the battery array it still has a killer weight advantage vs. the gas engine.

  • I have already seen it, and I recommend it to everyone!

  • What was the name of the movie you saw that inspired you?

  • @janeite2003 I would assume it's the movie "who killed the electric car" you can watch it online. Look it up.

  • You have shamed the car industry and us with your "simple" conversion. We have all been had! You go, guy! Let's make a whole bunch of them!

  • Way to go kid. To hell with the oil companies.

  • Good. Now influence the world! Do not stop.

  • 25 cents for 30 miles
