Ah...this is the video that got me interested in 2d fighters. I had never played one before and someone showed me a footage of the game's instant kills. Didn't really care. But i saw footage like this and my interest surged.

That was a pretty good feat by the Jin at the end, considering he was one hit away from losing the match. I actually thought he'd pull off a win, until Hakumen got back on the offensive.

I like this set-up. At first it seems like a canonical fuck-up, seeing as how Jin and Haku-men are the same person. But it would actually be entirely possible, seeing as how this game is one gigantic time traveling cluster fuck.

@ZeranEmpire Some characters have tough normal combos that will take hours to get to where you can do them consistently, but characters like Bang, Hakumen, and Ragna have pretty easy combos. After playing against the computer for a few hours, if you're remotely used to fighters, you could get used to their normal combos within 30-60 minutes. Blazblue was my first fighter and I got bang's down very quickly.

you must dash almost inmediatly after the standing C

I think in 2:49 it gets a counter that's why halumen got hit more easily but in 4:16 I cannot see the counter hit. it is confusing cannot combo it :(

I completely agree with you, I like Jin and he was my main and at my peak of skill with him I was winning and not using ice car once. Now my friend is using Jin and it seems all he does is ice car and every D move and grapples....he doesn't even touch buttons A-C -____-

this guy in the vid had awesome combos but he needs to figure out that the higher your combo is the less damage it does. like jins distortion in the last round barely did any damage. but if he hit hakumen once into the air and did it he would have done a lot more damage. just cuz you can make a huge ass combo in the air and juggle and whatnot doesn't mean you can do more damage than someone who pulls out the good moves first. i do small but damaging combos not long overdrawn ones that go nowhere

There is a big difference between spamming your ice car like the noobs and finishing off your combo with a car. Obviously you can finish off a nice combo with it.

I don't think Carl has one...you could consider Arakune as Taokaka's rival because he 'eats' others of her kind..

As for Hakumen, he's been waiting for Ragna to show up in order to kill him. Then again, everyone meets him except Jin. This would make it a bit of a reverse rivalry I guess...

i think that is safe to say that the rival of Hakumen is Ragna and Nu 13, if they are indeed the black beast or part of it, also we can say that maybe carl doesnt have a rival yet, but considering his background story, he would probably have one in the future, maybe a new char, or one of the actual members of the cast, dunno, considering that nirvana is related in some way with the previous war

well, i use robo ky too, but what im trying to say its that Hakumen its different, robo ky can do his specials even when he doesnt have the super meter full, hakumen no, every special costs him a portion of his super meter, thtas why his meter its different it can store up to 9 bars, every super cost 4 stocks, his dragon install like super costs 9 stocks, and every special costs between 1 to 3 stocks, he can link all his special in a combo if he has enough meter(i need to confirm this)
