@DGneoseeker1 STRONGLY disagree. Granted, excellent graphics are an important aspect to any great game... but certainly not the ONLY aspect. If you look at it from the perspective or reading a book, a great story is still a great story no matter how poorly drawn the pictures are.

Oh I wasn't saying that the SNES version is a bad game. Far from it. I'm just saying now that I know the PS1 version exists, there's no way I'll play the SNES version and miss out on the cutscenes etc

@DGneoseeker1 I must say I've seen the animated scene where frog splits the mountain open, and the SNES version, and as nice as the animated scene was, the SNES made my heart pound, and I saw it and it was like OMG so much more amazing, just shows to prove good graphics isn't always good graphics
