I have never mimized Diane's talent when she was a member of the original lineup of the legendary Supremes. The farther we get from the days of Flo, Mary, and Diane the more issues I have with Miss Ross. I would have despised her back then had I known what was going on behind the scenes even back then. The image of the group was squeaky clean and I fell in love with the trio from Detroit. By the time Flo and HDH left Motown I began to have enough of the "Extreme Supreme" AND her ego!

She sounds great here, especially considering that she's really not supporting her voice at all with any classical vocal techniques-Bel Canto preferably- which, if she learned & used them, would increase the resonance, agility & stamina of her voice exponentially.

"My World is Empty" was never recorded by the knock-off group known as "Diana Ross and The Supremes." It was recorded by the original lineup (Flo, Mary, and Diane) who were known then as they are now as simply THE LEGENDARY SUPREMES! By the way, she sure has her phony "Supremes" turned up loud enough now to disguise that voice that is totallly shot, doesn't she? Her voice is still velvet..not as enlastic as 1965, but certainly better than her peers like Martha Reeves. Dionne Warwick. I love the way she sings that note 2;36-37 she rarely does it but i listen for that " My Mind and soul have felt like thissssssaaaaaaist.." shows she still has Some of her voice. atleast 78-80% of her voice. thats quite a bit considering her age and folks like whitney 20yrs younger dont have at all. Whitney, Martha Reeves, Dionne Warwick. all have lost their voices.
