To really understand the way of the nation building in Europe one has to study the Migration period starting in 120 B.C. - 5th century A.D.
Yes, the Franks were a german tribe that received Latifundia after crossing the Limes.
So they (and some minor others) became _roman_ citizens.
From there derives the cultural difference between Francs and non-romanised Germans.
It's still visible today. France is a centralistic nation (even office names are still romanic).
Germany is a conglomerate.

It's actually amazing that the Bible has gotten into as many hands as it has. The Roman Catholic Church was so hell bent on keeping people from knowing the Bible, they had an agen murder William Tyndale. He was translating the Bible for the common folk but they arrested him & on Oct 6th 1536 he was strangled then set on fire in the prison courtyard.

The Kennedy Family is Catholic in name only. The catholic Church in the US represents the American people as a whole = a rotten sack of shit country. Pinto is spinning & rehashing stereotypes the amount of pure historical inaccuracy & convenient historical facts he is not mentioning a telltale. The Catholic church was not all powerful in Europe most of the time. Charlemagne ruled all Europe not just Germany, in fact he conquered much of the Germans he was a frank. This pinto guy is spinning so much it's hilarious! I think the US listeners need to stick to their own history & AJ needs to have relevant interviews & not science fiction based.
