  • not to mention that cannabis is the greatest photosynthesizer in the plant kingdom. Meaning that it consumes more CO2 and produces more oxygen that any other plant...including trees. Any talk of a 'green' movement that does not include this plant is pointless.

  • thought this was a good one

  • for real just fucking legalize it!

  • t420 on tumblr brought me here !

  • I wish I saw this in fifth grade rather than the crap dare teaches you

  • we as civilians need to kill the executives of oil, and paper industries and anyone who steps in the way of legalization for a better future.

  • @LazyKProductions420 I think kill is a bit strong, bit I do agree with you about outing executives and fat oil barrons

  • perfect way of getting the message accross, awsome !

  • TOOTRUE

  • give tanks for da herb mon

  • my friend TheGralswaechter sent me this video of you, and I think you're awesome. Adding you now.

  • Maybe Cannabis is the worlds backup-solution, that will be used when the "limited resources" runs dry.

  • Could be REAL American Energy Independence!

  • Please keep smoking weed.

The rest of us need your job.

  • CHRIS HASLAM

  • i'm tired.

  • And why people who want to buy cannabis MUST intercourse with a mafia, thereby putting themselves at risk and are wary of police persecution? Is it not better if they ACQUIRE Cannabis special place by the State. Where are DIRTY MONEY? Why ordinary people can not engaged in this business, plant seeds, watered, grow, harvest, delivered to the state and thereby earn a living CLEAN MONEY.

  • 2:15 oil does not come from ancient dead animals. there is an unlimited supply of oil and always will be. the only reason oil is increasing in price is from greed and the ignorance of the people of usa.

  • @balancex3 Theyre called fossil fuels for a reason you know lol

  • @balancex3 i hope you are not serious. oil is a FOSSIL fuel. and even if it wasn'tmade from ancient dead animals, there is certainly not an unlimited supply of oil, and the prices rise because of conflict in the middle east, not the ignorance of people in the U.S.A even though there is plenty of ignorance here in the U.S.

  • @BongRippps learn something please. just a little goes a long way.

  • 21 people got cought smoking weed.......

  • so beautiful

  • put this on tv

  • I like how he never mentions smoking it.

  • @Jazded People do not smoke hemp, the THC level in hemp is too low to get high off of it. The only reason it is illegle is because of its connections with marijuana. They both come from the same plant, but different parts. The stalk is where the hemp is located, and the leaves are where the marijuana is located. If we were to grow hemp plants, that also means we would grow more marijuana, which is what the government is afraid of.

  • end the war!

  • I would just like to say, GOOGLE MARC EMERY.....FREE MARC!

  • wasnt the marihuana act illegalizing marijuana in 1937 not 1938?

  • they should show this in highschools :D:D:D

  • The illegality of Hemp is probably the greatest sin ever done to America. Time to correct that.

  • Vote Yes on Prop 19 in California on November 02!

If marijuana is legalized, how can they keep hemp illegal?

  • legalize it... peace! :)

  • this will not happen at least at this century

  • .

    Excellent and to the point.

    Legalize it.

I'm Mike Miller and I approved my opinion...

    .

  • I wouldn't have a problem with legalizing cannabis, but not for recreational use. It should still be illegal to smoke it. But using it for fuel is fine...they'd just have to find a way to use it for fuel without it getting in the air, and giving people an unwanted high.

Also, some people (including me) wouldn't be swayed by a commercial using a stereotypical pothead to promote the legalization of cannabis.

  • @kaneslittlebrother lol its good to see non-potsmokers to take interest in cannabis legalization.

I can tell you are mainly pro-cannabis because of the economic advantages but hemp is the stalks of the marijuana plant(not the flower) and contains little thc. People dont smoke hemp but rather the flower of the hemp plant for its medicinal properties. And the exhaust from hemp ethanol gives no psychoactive effect and generates 2.14 times as much ozone as does gasoline exhaust.

  • The Conspiracy is that they take out CBD in marijuan which gives you a good high.

  • @omega4chimp

    No THC does.

CBD does the opposite. It is a counterbalancing agent which lessens the effects of THC.

  • @JamesPainPS3 Yeah but if you smock weed with CBD you laugh alot which i thought was the hole point of smocking weed know people got their kush which is like really high thc am i correct kush is like strong weed?

  • @omega4chimp

No THC gives you the typical feelings of being "high".

CBD lessens these effects, but is more useful for medicinal purposes.

Medicinal Marijuana tends to have more CBD in it.

  • @SuperSteveX yep. people were ignorant and racist and fking nacionalist and snob back then.

  • why would they use a stereotypical pothead to promote this?

  • @berkenstien lol that's what i'm thinking.

  • @berkenstien

I'm thinking the same thing XD

  • What this guy says makes sense, and is something I agree with.

It's still not an excuse to be a damned dirty hippy.

  • if ron paul ran for presidency with the following slogan "hemp, we can" and promising to legalize marijuana and using it for energy applications as well....he'd win by 90 percent of the vote!!!!!

  • Personally i hope we all die.

That way i can say fuck you to the government and put my nutsack in regen's dirty mouth.

    Fuck you american government.

  • I am desperately seeking hemp oil to treat cancer

  • @apachejunction1 watch a movie called "run from the cure". Its here on youtube. And you should google: pheonixtears.ca

  • TRY:

    BBC's BBC Horizon 2009 Cannabis Documentary 1 of 5

  • GREAT FACTS!!! BUT:

U dont wanna make an educational video with THAT badass speaking, nobody smart will like it, thus listen to it's VERY IMPORTANT information.

    TRY:

No offence to the video's information (in fact it is highly correct and put together nicely) I just COULD NOT get pass the reason why you made some false stereotypical pothead be your front running "spokes men"

  • @xcharliehustlex agreed. its insane that ppl judge you by the way you look, but its the truth, they judge you by the way you look so we better look good when the time to talk about the facts come. or else they'll use our own image against us

  • Dirty Hippies, GET A JOB!

  • @negrodomas567 yes! get a job, help the capitalism! who cares if we are all part of a plan? thats just hippie bullshit! right, dumbass?

  • Comment removed

  • this video is dumb and yet it's hilarous

  • Love it! Your Guys Rock!!!

  • THEY would rather have us die first or be in prison

  • Fuck Gloabalization and legalize weed and hemp that way we can take back our country from the elite "CHANGE WE NEED" said Obama

  • @rhinolimits obama doesnt gives a fuck about weed. just check it "time to legalize marijuana mr obama" the guy laughs about it

  • Peace Bud is awesome! He should be on sundays nights on fox cartoons!

  • the hemp used to make ropes and paper are not from weed you dumbass

  • @chriskuo um.. you better check your info again before calling someone a dumbass, lol

  • I devote my youtube channel on legalizing marijuana... please help guys we could save 10 billion dollars a year not to mention what we would gain by taxing it and using hemp

  • See the old videos of people hitting hemp cars with sledge hammers W/o denting the material. Hemp fibers are stronger that steel. Nearly 10X stronger. Hemp seeds contain the perfect 3:1 omega 6 to 3 ratio. Hemp protein is more robust than meats.

It's so cheap to produce that many HUGE industries would be replaced.

  • @billybbob18 dude speaking of hemp protein i just got some from my local organic grocery store. i use it all the time after a work out and it works so much better then all these other protein shakes out there

  • very cute! but true.

  • hahahaahha that is spectacular

  • When the bastards that run this country die... our generation will be happier lets never be like them.promise yourself that. i promise U?

  • When the bastards that run this country die... our generation will be happier lets never be like them.promise yourself that. i promise U?

  • @hectorjp2010 once it is just people from the 60's and 70's who are the elders, HOPEFULLY it will all change, for the better or course.

  • This is all part of a global movement towards a sustainable solar economy. An economy based on real-time products of sunlight, (ie wind, waves, tides, organics and of course light) There is such a thing as too much

  • Lolz well this video lies alot but its true that it can be used for all that and it can be altered so it doesn't grow the part that gets ppl high so no reason not to legalize that strand of it.

  • why grow a strain that eliminates the part currently used for medicine. Yes its the same part that gets you high, that is issued by doctors for many illnesses and conditions out west. And it can be done with out the carcinogens, with no negative side effects. I'm not saying go out and smoke weed, but... hell you probably should. You seem to have a predisposition about it being bad for you. Or immoral. When you eat ice cream, its a want, its not a necessity. So is recreational marijuana.

  • I don't have a problem with people smoking it the people I know that smoke it are way way more under control than anyone who drinks alcohol.

I think if Alcohol is legal then why not Marijuana

But I can see how my comment looks like I'm a total right wing nut job.

Actually I don't care if people smoke it or not.

But be honest. This video lies ALOT part of its true but they change it.

  • If you'd be so kind, where were the lies? Not saying they didn't exist, I just ask because I only watched it once.

  • Well the easiest one is the one about Ford. Ford was around way before they developed the ethinol fuel or hemp plastic what they mentioned happend in the 40s

But actually every "fact" they mention isn't completely true. Just look them up. Nothing really matches.

Still I see it as something to look into. I don't care what people do in their free time I'd just assume that they make it legal and tax it like cigarettes more gov money and people won't kill each other of it smuggling it.

  • Dude: Look b4 commenting. Hemp is comprised of 2 genders like humans, Other then medicine that kept humanity healthy, Hemp used industrialy is very versitile covering all of humanity's needs! Search "Hemp conspiracies" on Youtube or Google to be educated!

  • Ok whatever.

I think if companies could make this much profit off of hemp then it would be legal plain and simple. Did you pay attention to the law the Supreme Court just overturned now companies can throw as much money as they want at Congress.

If it was so good then oil companies would buy into it then just sell us that.

They don't care its all about making money. Look at alcohol its worse in every way than weed but its legal.

  • YOUR DUMB! You dont realise how expensive oil is, how much money they make on it. THERE IS NO MONEY IN HEMP. its cheap, its easy, its simple.

If our economy depended on hemp generally things like fuel would be cheaper for us therefor the big compaines would be making less profit which is bad for them but good for us.

    thats were the argument is

  • Maybe you need to quite smoking it for a while and get a reality check.

There are other companies besides oil companies and if this was a true cheap alternative like you think it is then EVERY company would benefit from it and it would probably be legal.

So basically if this was true then there would be ALOT of money in hemp. More new car sales cheaper cargo transportation etc.

  • @sidewayznut2009 there is.. but since it has become a schedule 1 drug for its intoxicating values its kind of hard, when in truth it hurts no one like cigarettes and alcohol do.

  • @deafencryption what? I don't get what your talking about.

Weed hurts people but so does junk food. Cigarettes and Alcohol are bad too. I'm not against weed being legal infact if there was proposition to make it legal I would support it hands down but that doesn't change the fact this video is wack.

If industry benefited from it would have been legal long time ago because law in the U.S. is ruled by corporations through lobbiest.

  • @sidewayznut2009 alcohol is far worse than weed. . ever single industry in america would benefit from weed. if it was taxed and legalized today they estimate our money problems would be gone in a decade CNN found net worth at $14 billion in benefits we're missing by not legalizing and taxing pot every year.." 100 percent of the proceeds from marijuana sales go to unregulated criminals (caught with weed) rather than to legitimate businesses that pay taxes to support schools, police and roads."

  • @deafencryption when did I say it was worse than alcohol? I don't drink either.

14 billion benefiting who? A company that doesn't exist that would be selling it legally and taxes. I wouldn't benefit every company otherwise there would be major lobbying for it.

The whole problem with this conversation is that you have no clue about what I'm talking about when I say lobby or how all that works.

  • @sidewayznut2009 A company that doesn't exist? companies are MADE everyday you know the companies would end up existing and paying taxes

    14 billion benefiting who?

us!! with the roads we drive on and the schools we go to the courthouses that take criminals away. the very base structure of society would expand because of legalization and taxation.

"would be major lobbying for it."

  • @deafencryption HAHAHA well I'm not arguing that I'm saying there isn't a pre-existing company that wold benefit enough to bribe congress.

You should probably smoke a little less weed HAHAHAHA.

  • @deafencryption

So in simple words yes I agree that it would be better legal it would take the crime out of it and from what I know about people who drink and people who smoke pot I would agree that its not nearly as bad as alcohol.

And I think if it doesn't benefit companies that already exist then they won't give congress money to support it

  • @deafencryption HEY,I AGREE WITH U 100% I LOVE THIS KIND OF SHIT! SO MUCH STUFF I COME TO FIND OUT EVERYDAY THAT THE GOVERNMENT DOESNT WANT US TO KNOW.EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THE FULL FACTS ABOUT THE CONS AND PROS.EVERYONE SHOULD TRY AND RAISE AWARENESS=)

  • LEGALIZE!!!

  • this is educational as fuck. good film :)

  • how would it work? You can't put a tax on it. You can't cap it. It grows pretty much everywhere. It's sustainable in any environment. It would be like the air we breathe. I mean some people will smoke it, everyone will grow it, and it will pretty much be free. I mean the clothes that could be made from it the plentiful fuel it could provide for ships and planes and machines could make money/interest/debt/stock exchanges a dinosaur.

  • that is a GOOD thing

  • They can sell it in stores and tax it, because most people are lazy, or don't have the time/resources to grow it themselves. So those people(the majority) will go to stores, etc. to get there herbs. It's how it is now out west (most states out there) and currently it is very successful in pulling in tax dollars. Why would this suddenly change?

  • I don't want it taxed. They heavily tax cigarettes which make them expensive. But I don't care about cigarettes. They can tax and sell weed but it would be worthless. don't tax it. just let people grow it everywhere. Weed is never ending. It can grow and grow and grow and grow just from one plant. You can get like 500 plants just from one female plant.

Nobody is gonna make any money off of it being legalized or taxed. IT cannot be taxed. It cannot be regulated

  • It can be taxed, the federal government made like 600,000 dollars on tax from one company in California alone in one single year, the state made 300,000 dollars from the same company. They can make alot of tax money off of it, more so for medicinal and not so much for recreational. But the point is, some of it absolutely can be taxed, and is right now... If the government cannot find a way to make money from taxing it, at least they are saving money from legalizing it; the legal system.

  • Now, don't get me wrong, I don't want to pay the government for something so natural as cannabis, but if it makes it legally okay to do so, it's better than nothing. We agree on this point. I don't want it to be taxed either, man.

  • Weed is a major threat to big oil, big pharma, and big industry and enterprise.

If we had it our way weed would solve all our problems. It is the answer to all of the worlds problems.

  • Yeah, I see what your saying.

  • Yea crooked government want to tax everything... Like just need to decriminalize it.... That way everyone gets on with their life...

Also the laws against weed and most laws against us (statute law) are just an illusion... Youtube "strawman"

  • It's not a big business venture. it would be a small market if it is fully legalized. Why go to the weed store and buy a weed, when it is growing everywhere. Remember, IT'S a WEED! Why tax weeds? Weeds go everywhere. you can make a a lot of money selling weed when it's legalized. I can grow it in my house. YOu can, people can grow them on the side of the road. Weed is damaging to this fake economy we got goin' here.

  • It's not a big business venture? If they legalize personal and medical use, but outlaw cultivation then it would certainly retain its current title as the largest cash crop in america. This is a possibility.

  • Hahaha whoo

  • TELL YOUR STUDENTS TO STUDY THIS

  • Fuckin stupid humans ey? Legalize it, lets see how the world will be. In the state its in, it cant get any worse now fuckin can it? .. no.

  • 2 15 legalize the green!!!

  • Please watch a video called (Run from the Cure)

You can see what this wonderful plant can do as medicine. Rick Simpson used the essential oil boiled out of the hemp plant to cure his skin cancer. If you know someone with cancer please have them watch the video. They can decide what they want to do after that. Peace and Good Health!

  • Free the Weed.

  • i'm down with legalizing anyone else want to face our new idiotic greedy movie star president and vote yes for cannabis?

  • It's pretty clear that government WANTS war. Like the climate change fraud and the war on terror fraud, the war on drugs gives them an excuse for world governance.

The people behind the government also want all kinds of ongoing conflicts to keep populations from growing. They do not want to feed starving people.

Some people make a living and others make a killing. Unfortunately, the latter seems to end up with the biggest hoard and in control of the rest.

  • the climate shift isn't a hoax but everything else seems pretty logical

  • The government is too scared to legalize weed. Too many applications would devastate the global corporations. Politicians can't handle the TRUTH!

  • Annual Losses - Marijuana:

$11B currently illegally spent by US consumers

$220M untaxed product per state, assuming all states produce ---IF LEGAL and TAXED At current consumption estimates--

    12% (Federal excise tax) = $1.32B

    12% (Excise tax / State) = $39.6M

    14% (Sales tax / State) = $30.8M

Individual State Annual Tax profit - $69.4M

    Total Annual Tax profit $4.84B

$6.16B growth and handling up to depending on demand

Price would reach a point where at home growth is not economical

  • of and dont forget it makes you a pacifist we wouldn't want that would we.

    Give peace a chance-John Lennon

  • I belief everything^^

  • As much as i love weed and support the hemp industry, oil dosn't come from ancient animals,it comes from ancient plants...PS climate change is natural and innevitable

  • Actually oil comes from both ancient plants and animals (ie carbon based life) ^_^

Just had to be a wise ass, peace.

  • From wikipedia: "Today's oil formed from the preserved remains of prehistoric zooplankton and algae"

    Zooplankton = ANIMALS!

"the remains of prehistoric terrestrial plants, on the other hand, tended to form coal"

So yeah, learn the true facts motherfucker ^_^

    /wiki/Petroleum#Formation

  • lol big deal eh?

  • we need to show the government this video...

    haha

  • Fuck yeah

  • the government knows all this already, they admit it. But its easier for them to just ignore it.

  • @CWA12 YOU ARE SO FUCKING RIGHT!!! ILY MAN no homo though lol

  • like they could Care less

  • Listen a lot of you may be thinking.... Only if the government could hear this they would take action. WOW, they must not know! If we only had a better speaker then they would listen.... Oh you silly citizens, do you not know logic does not run our country, corporations sending armies of people with buckets of millions for bribing (political contributions) our elected political figures. The will of the people ends after election the rest is all a money game.

  • In that case, if only everyone was a stoner

  • *agree

  • I love this video

Forgot to favorite it the first time I saw it and finally stumbled upon it

    5/5!

  • not to mention, IT CAN HELP THIS SHITTY ECONOMY!

  • It sort of defeats the purpose to give out such information if your going to have the prototypical burn-out hippie as the narrator.........

I actually think it's counterproductive, get rid of the Keanu Reaves "Point Break" narrator and maybe someone might take this thing seriously, WTF?

  • Its su[[osed to be like that jack ass lol

Its funny and you listen to it cuz its funny

    so stfu! lol

  • It really does not matter how a person speaks. I think he sounds like every person living in SoCal. People that judge a persons intelligence based on the way they talk is to the disadvantage of the person listening. This is true for other places as well; many people believe a thick southern draw indicates ignorance. The funny thing is people with a thick southern draw know this and use this to manipulate the person listening.

  • I dont think people even truely realize how better things would be if we had the most natural wonderful resorce availible to the mainstream, FUCKING TRY IT OUT FOR ONCE !YOU GODAMN PIECE OF SHIT CONSERVATIVES!! AND IF FOR SOME BIZZARE RETARDED INSANE TWILIGHT ZONE REASON LEGALIZING MARIJUANA DIDNT WORK OUT LIKE THOUGHT IT WOULD , THEN MAKE JUST MAKE IT ILLEGAL AGAIN

WILL WE EVER SEE THE DAY !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • It is the whole system Bud, The WHOLE system needs taken down a started anew...We do have many natural resources that we can form FREE energy and such. We can run are cars on water and such. we do have cures for cancer and such,, WE WON'T SEE IT TILL WE TAKE IT... I have been called both sides of the pyramid, so the whole LEFT RIGHT thing should end... THE PEOPLE should find understanding... We do not have to agree to understand when something is right or wrong. RIGHT NOW MANY THINGS ARE WRONG.

  • Im conservative and I smoke pot everyday. It doesnt matter what your views are, just spark it up.

  • EXACTLY

  • what are you even waiting for. LEGALIZE IT NOW!

  • "If the words 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness' don't include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn't worth the hemp it was written on." - Terence McKenna

  • <3 hemp is love

  • It should be left up to the individual to choose,

"Prohibition goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are

not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded" -Abraham Lincoln

"Hemp is of first necessity to the wealth & protection of the country." -Thomas Jefferson

  • I don't smoke pot at all, and am totally for legalization... Especially industrial hemp.

  • legalize it!!!!

  • Hells yes.

I would caution people that if we farm hemp like other crops are farmed then we risk cannabis dying out due to disease though- it should be done consciensciously and with great care.

  • they had good facts etc but they should have made the video more serious

  • fuck the drama roll a bomba

  • I'll smoke to that.

  • This video made good points but I hate the way it was made. Propaganda through and through.

  • true dat..... true dat.

  • there is nothing wrong with sitting back and smoking sum bud :)

  • yeah its a great message but peacebud sounds sort of dumbs.. they should have made him sound a little straighter

  • bring you down? I know the hemp part has no THC but what are you talking about smoking hemp will stop you from being high?

  • Great stuff :)

  • high yields in almost any enviroment? bullshit.

now excsuse me while i trim my plantz.

  • Hemp, marijuana, and the rest of the drugs are already legal; no one has a right to tell you what you can and cannot consume. All we can do is advise you, based on our understanding. It's called life, LIBERTY, and the pursuit of happiness. The laws against these substances are illegal. This is a civil rights issue, and until people understand that what they are doing is morally wrong and unconstitutional... this shit's going to keep dragging on.

  • Civil Right ? WTF those things still exist? I havn't seen them around lately...

  • amen to that

  • Amen to that. If people have the right to consume tobacco and alcohol, who are they to tell us we can't consume marijuana?

  • Well not exactly unconstitutional. In fact I do not believe it mentions life liberty or the pursuit of happiness, thats the declaration of independence.

  • In the Preamble it states: and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity... so yes, it is unconstitutional, but you're right, the other statement is from the Declaration of Independence.

You are not free if someone can tell you what you can or cannot consume, or what you can or cannot grow. Then, consider that this prohibition movement is related to "christian puritans," and that entheogens are part of a shamanic experience, and we have a violation of the 1st amendment.

  • i agree, but the prohibition movement has nothing to do with "christian puritans" which btw is a redundant phrase, a puritan is a christian. did u not watch the video? it had to do with monopolies controling things, so dont try to blame "christians." there are chirstians that are for weed like myself, but there are others that just dont understand n theyre a dying breed. i just wish people would realize that god made weed so how can it be wrong?

  • I would not say that all "christians" are puritanical, and that christian evangelical puritanism has had an effect and move towards prohibition. Dupont and others capitalized on this. Historically it is related, and many preachers were the first to condemn; I also disagree; not all christians are "puritan."

  • word. good point.

  • Well i am a christian myself and the way i see it, cannabis isn't neccesarily an intoxicant when used properly, i use it to meditate, and to become closer to God, i also use it if i have a headache or am not feeling well, its actually much safer to use cannabis ointments, or orally ingest cannabis then to take an aspirin i can assure you that. IMHO Pharmaceutical companies are hitmen imo, basically getting paid to kill the masses, modern medicine is an industry not a he
