It is a pity the NCAA let those players play. Ohio State lost the game before the game was even played. The coach is gone! The quarterback is gone! The team is on probation! The wristbands the players were wearing to support the former coach are gone! The NCAA is still investigating! How many years have you been doing this? If the rules were upheld, Ohio State would not have been in the Sugar Bowl. So Arkansas wins by forfeit. Lets get these teams to play by the rules.

It is a violation of NCAA rules and really OSU has lost a coach, five players in five games, and been honest on the matter. The coach should have suspended the players, informed the NCAA, and should have conducted an investigation on the matter. The coach would have least had his job.

It appears the OSU coach is out, now the Sugar Bowl trophy should be given to Arkansas since OSU has a scandal on their hands. The NCAA or the Coach should have suspended the players earlier in the season due to the violations of the NCAA rules. I am disappointed that OSU would do anything to win one game against a SEC team. Therefore, OSU did not follow the rules and should forfeit the game and the season as they do not deserve to be in a bowl.

@UAReviews One more thing. The NCAA did not get Reggie Bush or Pete Carroll in time before they left. So I agree with them sanctioning and stripping them after the fact. OSU and Cam Newton were all dealt with before. The NCAA had a chance to stop them but did not. I do not beleive they should be stripped of anything. How ever the Heisman committy is much more strict than the NCAA when it comes to the Heisman Trophy. Cam Newton being stripped though is inevitable. OSU I am not so sure.

It has only been a couple of months since our last practice so both teams are right back in it. I see how you guys develop players year to year easier! There is a lot more time to develop young players and get them valuable practice time that may be hard to find during the season! The young ones play scout team during the season but to work on your stuff instead of the opponents is always better! I have heard many times about the advantage but I can see now for myself! We finally have a coach!
We have beaten LSU 4 of 5 times and still can't get respect from them so we will keep on beating them down and it will come! We have to get that Bama and Florida monkey off our back now! We caught Florida when Petrino just got there and they beat us bad but when he got his players in they cheated the first game and now they are off the schedule. Wish we could get them again and we will! That Florida game was the worst officiating ever! It's on UTUBE! I have to give the coaching edge to SEC!

Coach BP will go after the big star guys but he knows players that will fit his system and develop them accordingly! It is better to have a 5 star player and develop them too but all is not lost if they don't have all the stars! Texas is always top 5 in recruiting and they did not make a bowl game this year! Stars don't always mean wins! Our current class was ranked in the 30's but after re-evaluating them, making the Sugar bowl, they were re-ranked #5! After all is said and done, good players!

It is a violation of NCAA rules and really OSU has lost a coach, five players in five games, and been honest on the matter. The coach should have suspended the players, informed the NCAA, and should have conducted an investigation on the matter. The coach would have least had his job.

It appears the OSU coach is out, now the Sugar Bowl trophy should be given to Arkansas since OSU has a scandal on their hands. The NCAA or the Coach should have suspended the players earlier in the season due to the violations of the NCAA rules. I am disappointed that OSU would do anything to win one game against a SEC team. Therefore, OSU did not follow the rules and should forfeit the game and the season as they do not deserve to be in a bowl.

@UAReviews One more thing. The NCAA did not get Reggie Bush or Pete Carroll in time before they left. So I agree with them sanctioning and stripping them after the fact. OSU and Cam Newton were all dealt with before. The NCAA had a chance to stop them but did not. I do not beleive they should be stripped of anything. How ever the Heisman committy is much more strict than the NCAA when it comes to the Heisman Trophy. Cam Newton being stripped though is inevitable. OSU I am not so sure.

It has only been a couple of months since our last practice so both teams are right back in it. I see how you guys develop players year to year easier! There is a lot more time to develop young players and get them valuable practice time that may be hard to find during the season! The young ones play scout team during the season but to work on your stuff instead of the opponents is always better! I have heard many times about the advantage but I can see now for myself! We finally have a coach!

We caught Florida when Petrino just got there and they beat us bad but when he got his players in they cheated the first game and now they are off the schedule. Coach BP will go after the big star guys but he knows players that will fit his system and develop them accordingly! It is better to have a 5 star player and develop them too but all is not lost if they don't have all the stars! Texas is always top 5 in recruiting and they did not make a bowl game this year! Stars don't always mean wins! Our current class was ranked in the 30's but after re-evaluating them, making the Sugar bowl, they were re-ranked #5! After all is said and done, good players!

I wish he would have stayed in Miami but he found out the Pro's and college are two totally different monsters! Spurrier, Saban, Petrino all had their pro careers cut short because you are not dealing with kids anymore. The players make more than the coach so it's hard to yell and teach them something new!

GREYMOOSE, where in the hell can I find him? What is his email or website or something! I'd like to see him answer the question, "Why the hell would a team like Arkansas, playing six teams ranked in the top 25, three of them won the NC over the last 5 years, schedule more tough games when few other teams play thay type of schedule!" Mark May should apologize right here. I mean, it goes beyond SEC worship: Before the game, the guy said these kids were inferior athletes. That's really disturbed, man. Of course commentators are going to be opinionated, but they shouldn't be insulting the players. It is time for the SEC to wake up to the reality that they are just another major conference like the Pac-10 (12) and the Big Ten. It starts with changing the tone from networks like this, especially from people like Mark May.

tressel let them play onnly if they promised to the ohio state fans live that they were coming back...and guess what....they all are... so he let them play in the game....some of them could have just went pro and said fuck it and not play ....but no the y promised a senior season......and we have the best recruits year in and year out so suck it sec fans

@DarkHollowDC we beat up on oregon last year...was that luck too?...just bc we lost florida when our best players were hurt and then the next year ill admit we didnt belong in the championship game against LSU but thats how things ended up.....we had a copuple off years that happens to every program. look at florida this year. they were horrible and bearly beat penn state
