i actually thaught this mission was very easy,i had a great defence army for minas tirith, with gandalf at, i thaught lvl 7. and with my rohan army consisting out of only rohirim, with all the upgrades, and three horse heroes, the mordor army was killed pretty easy, see you need to use your rohirim to sweep down the orcs, and when the mumakil show up, you need to keep them close to the wall, so the archers and gandalf can bring them down before they reach you,

anyway, i thaught the battle for helms deep was way harder, i almost lost that one

I couldn't finish it in 1 post, but the rest is after your done with the mission and you are at CP go to Helm's Deep and do the same thing as before and THEN call in the reinforcements and when you win don't use them again, just use Faramir's army and level him and his army up. For example I did an army of rohirrim and had 140 after Helms Deep because I did everything I said except for killing off a part of a unit and train the new CP because that takes a while. So there you and good luck.

For those wondering as to how people have so many people I know a way that doesn't involve modding things, but it does require patience. The mission before Helm's Deep is the last chance you have of doing it though(it's with Gandalf and Eomer so you know for sure). Then when your there you get your army to the max with what you want then win it without losing some, or let some of the men in the units die then train the men with the new CP and then get banners for the units with missing men.

It's actually not that hard to destroy the Grond: aim the two closest trebuchets at it, and have Rangers and Archers attack it with flaming arrows. Use Faramir's Wounding Arrow, Gandalf's Lightning Sword & LIGHT OF ISTARI. If your trebuchets are upgraded with Fire Stones, you should easily destroy the Grond before it breaches the gate.

yes, I know but I started with full "population" 300/300 with the rangers from ithilen :P and to upgrade your trbuchets with fire stones you must build some so the building can go to lvl 2 :P

I get it, but don't you lose some units as the mission progresses? When you have enougn spare command points, make 3 trebuchets, they're enough to level up the Workshop. BTW, how did you record this video?

@MrThejackhamma you actually not have to upgrade the trebuchets i used the following tactic gandalf faramir and as many rangers as possible and the trebuchets so grond couldn't destroy the gate

I don't know, he destroyed my gate:P, but I used gandalf's/faramir's powers and almost all the rangers attacked him :P

You just need to upgrade your trebutcer and put gandalf to do the lightning attack

yes, but to upgrade the building where you create trebuchets so you can add fire to them 1st you must build some of them like 4-5, but I hat full pop :P

the way I did: at faramir's army have alot of rangers since I have only rangers on the walls, and at rohan only rohirrim:P

when the rohirrim arrive they will get really injured by the nazgul/trolls . so be sure to go in minas tirith at the healing fountains :P

yes, I think you have all the fortreses in BFME2. Minas Tirith/HelmsDeep/Rivendell/Cir­ith Ungol/Isengard/minas morgul. I'm not sure about moria :P

I had only Rohirrim in my Reinforcsments :) how how is it typed :O

I had 98 rohirrim and the rest are heroes.

It was amazing when i attacked with 98 rohirrim and i took my huge Army of Gondor Knights and attacked the enemy from theyr flanks and from theyr front

it was soo awesome . u know so breathtaking :)

I've got this game but i never played the minas tirith battle. On the box it looks great but this doesn't look as good. Is this because of your comp?

Dude when i beat minas tirith it was pretty easy when i got the army of the dead but now im working on medium but not on minas tirith yet but past helm's deep but heres a tip for minas tirith evil campaign. Send the witch king and nazgul to destroy the citadel and youll only get survived who cares at least you win but use your summon elves and rohirrim near the bases so they can destroy them. thats how i did it and i owned the whole level. btw my bro almost destroyed grond before it could breach
