i have always loved P.F but never knew anything about syd until around a mounth ago when I watched a documentary about him..

since then he has become a Legend.

I've wondered for years whether the psychotropics he was on for so long contributed to the overall deterioration of his health. I can't imagine that the side effects were pleasant.

A lot of us, whether we were old enough to know about Syd from the 'salad days' or not, feel that Floyd just wasn't the same without Syd. Still a great band, but oh, if he could have just held it together!

@MrHairyRambo Maybe that's why Syd left the music industry on his own terms. He wanted people to remember him for the brief time he was when he was young. He left in his prime.
