It would have been a cult hit. The website pretty much tells the set up , but lacks on any conclusion as if this posting and others like it might spark interest in its story. I personally don't like the idea of CGI since it takes away from real UFO videos. If people see an actual ET craft most likely it would be dismissed as CGI by skeptics. So I think ways to distinguish real from CGI should be developed since CGI has gotten too good.

It's the size that is confusing some people. THis ship is 1.5 miles wide. In the video you can see it covering it's own length in a matter of a second, which would put this thing at well over 2000 miles per hour. It's not casting a shadow on the trees because it's 20,000 feet up in the air and miles away. 2900mph is more than enough to generate a large sonic boom

I've seen a real UFO which was this size and there was nothing fake about it, so I know there's a real subject out there as do countless others. It's not enough to create a good looking CGI model, the real skill is in making it interact realistically within the enviroment its placed into, and in this Manbird succeeds admirably.

Very nice render and atmospherics. When I first saw the flyover past the palms (other vid) I was truly creeped out; the screams around town added a dimension. The biggest clue of CGI was the smooth pan and the lens flare--a little too clean. You've borrowed a bit from Spielberg, but I think you can better his heavy-handed approach of showing everything--as long as you activate people's inner terror, you're there. You know, I've actually seen a real daylight flyover--no joking.
