Actually, this is exactly how psychopaths/sociopaths are behave.. ive met a couple of these psychos and even if im a bit a "though" guy they can give me creeps and i feel uncomfortible.. its not what they say, its how they say it and the bodylanguage tells that something is really fucked up with this guy hahah
Great episode from start to finish...in Gusman's house early on was terrific, when Sonny is talking about stripping the cosmoline off the guns, then Evan comes down stairs and says,"Who is this big mouth..?" Crockett's face is priceless.
That scene was the catalyst for the rest of the episode! Nicely, done. The audience gets to put together the history between the characters. Would everyone agree that indeed " Evan " is the protagonist in this. He's actually already " dead " with guilt over his " gay friend's " death. By linking up with Crockett and working the drug deal, he gets a second chance at " life " but sacrificing himself for Crockett's life thereby being a " better friend ", this time around.
@AllhailTabby and if WB plans to make another dark knight movie with the joker as the villain, William would fit the role because his "On edge" attitude is spot on similar to Heath Ledger's acting.
Think of all the people who either got their start in this show or atleast early in their career . Steve Buscemi , Bruce Willis , Viggo Mortesson , Michal Madson ,dam the list is endless !!!
Me and my friend recite this scene to each other at least once a week...my gf is like ''what the hell's wrong with you?'' I tell her it's a vice thing.
@crockett007 OMG! I would recite this with you! I'm addicted to Miami Vice! Always have been and always will be! I watch all these videos alot. I watch the series at least once a week. How can anyone not like Miami Vice; still beats to hell what is on t.v. today. -Fan in West VIrginia!
I always thought Evan should've been given a bigger role in MV building the tense relationship between himself and Sonny in earlier episodes, then perhaps ending it with this episode ( or not ). The tenseness between Sonny and Evan is awesome
So many people are dying inside, but noone really wants to know the truth. Ultimately, Evan took the bullet because he could not take life anymore. so many people suffer in silence and try to hold the pain inside...we read in the news those that can't do it anymore.
Come on, Crockett - Let's have it out. You and me - 20 paces, Back-to-back. Whaddya say? I'm cool. I'm cool. HUH ? One for you, One for me; Let's go together. Hmm? Huh? Huh? Huh?
William Russ play the role of a suicidal policeman, who managed to do at the end of elsewhere. finished dramatically.....great performance of actors...with Don Jonhson too.
Now that's the kind of dramatic performance I'm talkin' about! William Russ took over this character like nobody else could. Whoever casted him for this part deserves a mountain of credit as well.
