The signs do not prohibit making a wake, only that the boater must not exceed 5 mph in areas closer than 100 ft from a structure.. Not our rules, AGFC's rules. Not sure who the boater is to read the signs at any speedy!

Better at speed than at slow, watch the wake at lower speeds its a lot friggin bigger.
Idle speed is the only no wake speed.
