Mastodons cover of this is as soulful and amazing as the original, no more, no less. I happen to like Mastodons cover more than the original because it's more technical, and thats what I'm into. That's my opinion, however. Regardless, if you say that any one song should never be covered, you are an elitist tool who doesn't understand the real point of music.
