Don't get me wrong - this is a nice video, but I doubt a 4-channel memory controller is going to have anywhere near 33% more bandwidth. In practice, 2-channel is typically around 10% faster than single channel, but getting more total RAM in a system is certainly a good thing.

Secondly, that PSU is overkill. A 500W PSU would still give some headroom for these components.

I would say 4.6Ghz is a very good and stable overclock, and realistically you wouldn't need a 24/7 overclock of 5.0-5.6Ghz.

Hi , my boot speed with out any program running is showing at 1600 MHz and if I run primr 95 smal FFT, THE CLOCK SPEED IS AT 4.5 to 4.66 , I also reset the bios but even it's going to the same mode. I did not do any OC SETTING, but the clock speed is same, ie 1.6 speed at idle and 4.6 speed when I stress test with prime 95 FFT, What should the problem

the reason why there is Vdroop control is a feature for overclocking.. u dont leave it auto and jack up the vcore.. Vdroop control is for stock speeds.. where do u get ur info from?

Hot air always goes up and cool air is heavy so stays relatively down, so it's does,t make Sence to blow the air from top, that to in a closed cabinet I DON,T AGREE, it's better to throw an additional fan below .

@Itechnohead that would be a good theory if you weren't using fans to move the air. in a static situation hot is up and cold is down, but if you pulling cool air into the front of your case and hot air out the back of your case cold is front and hot is back. so as long as you have enough fans pushing that warm air out you should be fine.

@OTAKUJHE Very few programs today uses more than 4 cores, so only professional video editors or anyone who need a lot of threads would benefit much from this. The 3960X have also replaced the 990X and its price of about 1000 USD, so it is clearly intended for the most extreme users. Though the 3930K (100Mhz, and 3MB Cache less) costs about half of the 3960X, and will probably be preferred by enthusiasts. But 2600K is still a good buy, and I might build a system with it myself after Christmas.
