  • from making records to space ships, you go first!

  • take me!

  • I am one of those first passengers. It is about time visionaries start to take on projects such as this. I am glad to be able to contribute to the advancement of space and science so that others less fortunate may someday have the same experience.

  • We LOVE YOU Sir Branson!! YOU GO BOY!!

  • I would like to mention the carbon footprint. There I said it.....bitch.

  • Some day it will cost much less for a ride. Remember the first DVD players? They were over $1000. We have these fancy toys because the wealthiest folks help play back the research cash so us poor slobs can have a DVD player for $20.

  • ppl whom can afford the ride is obviously not indulging in this blog. To a few privledged it' s all about the experiences, even repeats. As time progresses and hdryo and and battries apply to aerospace is in the verge. Its a proces..but think about the technology to gain, fly half way around the world in 2hrs...no more jet lag..lol..peace...

  • So much respect for this man. Very ballsy to be the first up in it...with his dad.

  • "Just don't mention the Carbon footprint!?!"

You are talking about the guy who was named one of the "HEROES OF THE ENVIROMENT" by none other then TIME MAGAZINE!

Check your facts before you speak miss journalist!

  • its a aeroplane, dummy!

  • Illuminate!

  • Who would want to spend that much in this recession...just to see ummm...space?....

  • People who invested wisely and still have money to spend?

  • Do you even know what you're talking about?

    The tickets are $200,000

The time in space is < 5 minutes.

Who would spend that? People who have money with aspirations beyond what's the highest score they can achieve on a video game.

  • WTF???

    200,000???

    Thats even more fucked up!!!

  • LoL. Maybe, but the first cell phones cost $4000 and they're dirt cheap today. Give it a decade or two and it will become reasonably affordable
