@The01Toby probably because they train the guard a lot more and it's just comfortable, easy, and the opponent thinks they have the advantage.

Did you see their little crouched slapping match at the start. It looks very bjj/wrestling. A decent judoka would pick that apart.

well not more, but a pretty good amount it doesn't matter where you are in bjj

plus it's easier
