Haha! Nah the Corvette is a decent car. I've got nothing against the hardware makeup of it. It's a solid vehicle. The only problem is, Chevy dumped a ridiculous amount of R&D and tech into the car just so it could compete with the slew of powerful cars that are popping up everywhere. It might be a fast car, but it's still a Chevy, and it's still a Corvette. Horsepower whores think the fastest car MUST be the best, and it's just not so. And the ZR1 ain't even the fastest.

People who buy a ZR1 might have a fast car for a little while, but next year they'll have to trade up because suddenly their car can't compete anymore. It's the same with any fast car. Needy attention hogs get caught in the trap of buying a car and then getting upset when something better comes along. And then they're stuck with a so/so car.

Uhhhh, it's still a Corvette. It still tries like mad to compete with the Viper, year after year. Vipers aren't a terrible car. A Viper ACR will mop the floor with your precious ZR1, any day of the week. A common SRT10 street Viper will eradicate any non-ZR1 Vette.

Face it, man: Vette's are like Mustangs. They're everywhere. That's why when a vette comes down the road, nobody pays attention. When a Viper cruises down the road, jaws drop, time stops, and people go crazy. Sorry.
