Facebook has changed the 'invite'... so it doesn't appear now. You can go to facebook.com/about/messages to get on the waiting list. I will do some research to see if the 'invite' is still available.
@HITSdotcom If may have an advice, don't accept the upgrade when you finally get it ! I accepted it today and I'm very disappointed, for a very simple reason : chat messages and inbox are now mixed up !
Example : You recently got a message from a friend, later you chat with him, EVERY SINGLE chat message is recorded in the inbox, below the previous email/regular message.
@Sveninou Buuuut, that's what I want. Besides, we're all going to be upgraded anyway so it's useless to resist the change by not accepting the invite. Past chat conversations have never been accessible to us before now. That's a huge improvement.
@HITSdotcom My point was that, if you want to take a look at a regular message (non chat) that a friend has sent you let's say 2 weeks ago, and that you've been chatting with him everyday since then, then you will have to scroll up 2 weeks of chat conversations before finding that regular message. I want my inbox to still perform as a regular message inbox, which doesn't force me to scroll up thousands of lines to find what I'm looking for...
I got this today and i hate it :( It looks neat though the reason why i hate it is becuase when i AM ON facebook chat it says i have new mail when i check my mail it posts every message i said on facebook chat.... and when ever someone sends me mail on facebook message is shows on facebook chat!! I have seen the facebook email opticion but i dont want to do it.. any ideas :)
HI Julie, thanks for the great video. How did you film this? I've seen it before but can't recall which program you use to create this cool effect of your image in a box on the video. Can you please share?
@suzannedoyleingram Hey Suzanne... I use Camtasia and you actually record you and the screen at the same time (either using your camera or your web cam). Then you can resize your window and put it where you want by using the PIP controls in Camtasia. Cool aye??!!! sMiles
@SetOnOverdriveVideo OM Gosh... I got mine in a few days. And you can only request only once. I would send a message to support@facebook.com and ask them why it's taking so long for you.

Ok, so the invitation is for the new chat with video calling, group chat, sidebar and etc. or only for the messages system. Please answer.

I have requested the feature long time ago but I still didn't get it... Most of my friends are getting it without requesting an invitation...
Also they can't find any links inviting me... How can i get it?
