Actually the tea and crumpet thing is about the English in particular, not anyone from Britain. I'm American and I can honestly say that we are probably the worst people when it comes to stereotypingothers and although I agree with what you're saying that we aren't all fat and that it's just bullshit, I must also say all of the stereotypes we use against the europians are also a load of bullshit including the tea and crumpet shit, the hairy europian shit and whatever else.
