This very event made it so that they could bring the war to "Home soil" during the story which was one of the big new events brought in Mw2's campaign. As well as make you debate over who is the real villain Makarov or Shepard. IMO I'm fine with any use of potentially "Disturbing" content, even if it is worse than this, as long as it is used appropriately in story development.
