I don't know if this is what stauntongrocery said to do, but I just connected my Droid X to my Mac using a USB, opened up Finder, clicked on the "Removeable Device" (my phone) and there's a folder called "Music". Then I pulled up a folder on my Mac that had all my music on my computer, and then I simply dragged and dropped the songs from my computer's Music Folder to my phone's Music Folder. Hopes this helps anyone =]

To transfer music from your itunes to the Droid X all you need to do is hook up the USB and set your phone as a storage device. Then drag and drop albums or songs from you phone or computer then eject and your good to go.

@monster1334 Yes it's for Mac. When you plug your droid X into your mac use the pull down menu on your Droid and select connection type. There you will enter USB storage device or mass storage device.

Use Media Monkey it's better it'll read your iTunes play lists and you can sync your android to it and pretty much any thing else including iPods/iPhones & you won't get that "Unknown Artiest" thing on the music player reason why is if you go to media monkey you'll notice that some of the song that the phone will say "Unknown Artiest" the "Artiest" category is blank just edit that and your good that is if you care and find that part annoying like i do

fyi, this works for the Motorolla Droid X. On the pull down menu when your USB is connected, change it to "USB MASS STORAGE".. So, you plug in your "x", launch program (salling media sync on mac), change USB menu to "USB MASS STORAGE" and sync!!!
