  • Jim Conti, you legend.

  • I fucking love it. <3 I swear first time through the Summertime melody gives me chills. Solos were sick.

  • ONE MORE TIME!

  • gives me the chills every time (the good kind)

  • This is "If and When We Rise Again" not summertime

  • @giggipop That song ended at the 00:20 mark.

  • @giggipop Yeah, the solo section is done to the tune of Summertime, an old jazz piece from an opera by George Gershwin.

  • gave me chills

  • summertime better be on the next volume of 99SOR

  • @percussionwithfire agreed.

  • Lmao there's that one guy that keeps screaming "FUCK YEAH" in a really prepubescent voice. So good haha.

  • who does the original to this song?

  • @cablamus George Gershwin technically, but in this they just took the chord progression (and melody, at the end) as an excuse to solo over it. So yeah, it sounds completely different.

  • @capnmcfluffy thankyou :)

  • They never say Soprano's name.

  • Rumor has it that the release date is tentatively set for mid-March. This was found out after countless angry emails were sent to Victory about the matter.. There are several threads about it on the Unofficial Forums. The truth behind the statement is questionable.. but at least we have some sort of idea from the record company (not just Tom) as to when it's going to be out.

I WANT IT NOW THOUGH :(

  • Funny how Tomas' dialogue about the recording of SitB being done can be applied to 99SoR today. Amazing video.

  • amazing

  • shit always owns when he rolls to that low A, i love doing it on my bari

  • Oh god that low note from Brown in summertime..... oh maaaan. I'm gone.

  • I recently met these guys in Manchester when they played a gig at a fairly low-key club, they were awesome and so modest and the gig itself was absolutely mind blowing. STREETLIGHT FTW!!!

  • Omg that's so amazing. I just wish pop music was more like this, than I would actually like pop culture of today lol.

  • that was unbelievable! i think my brain just melted because it couldnt handle so much genius

  • un-FREKIN-real!

  • Mike Brown, by far, is Jesus :D

I go to the Church of Mike Brown.. dunno about you.

  • He he, I met Mike on Sunday! He is awesome and apparently works in a coffee shop in New Jersey when he's not on the road...y'know if you wanna track him down, he even let me hold his bari sax!!!

  • ah. Church of Tomas Kalnoky. But Mike Brown is the Jesus, and Kalnoky is the god. and they are the same being.

  • I go to the Temple of Matt Stewart.

  • I'm personally a follower of the Soprano sect of the church.

  • He is a god. was in a band a few years ago that opened for Streetlight in Portland, ME and he was the chillest dude and incredible. Played Flight of the Bumblebees, no big deal.

  • awesome quality dude :D

  • I fucking love this guys. They by far have the best horn section of any rock/ska band these days!

  • Why do they never do things like this when I see them live? I'm so jealous - that was fucking awesome. 5/5 would recommend to friends.

  • what was the song after the solo?

  • I Think its summertime from sublime

  • Summertime is actually a song composed by George Gershwin, sort of an african spiritual song

  • Actually, Sublime covered Summertime and re-did it. Streetlight is actually covering the original in this bit here.

  • Awesome. Do you have the whole video of If and When We Rise? Or do you only have the little clip before the solos come in?
