your first paragraph in the description says it all...Jimmy was incredible, and he deserve alot more respect. A drummer, guitarist, bassist, pianist, writer and vocalist...that's insane, he was one of the best MUSICIANS out there...but it was unfortunate that he was into drugs and not alot people believe that, but i've seen interviews where that subject was brought up. it was his decision, but he definitely left his mark on the world. Don't get me wrong he was an ok drummer but nothing compared to Matt greiner imo.. Joey jordison's just as good, if not better. A7x drums are not hard compared to proper heavy metal

@BRAINDEAD776 i'm sorry, we all have opinions. and i was not just talking about his drumming. he wrote like 90% of their songs...guitar riffs, lyrics, piano and the drums. i can agree with you with on one thing..i think he has way much more publicity now because he is dead..because alot of people didnt know what kind of musician he was and once he died it was all over the news so people had to research him. and matt greiner is my 2nd favorite drummer, i just like the revs style more.

@tbartels007 he wasnt involved with drugs, the top comment tells you that. and in the second chorus you are only supposed to do the ride to china thing for 2 measures and then it goes to hitting the china whenever you hit the snare without the ride. but its a cover and i honestly think you're very talented. and the rev quit drugs 5 years prior to death(except alcohol, and tobacco)

i was watching your slipknot vids and decided to subscribe and saw this. while reading your description i found one thing wrong. Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan didn't get mixed up with drugs at all. he was on pain meds. the only problem with it was the combination. alcohol, his heart meds, and his pain meds weren't suppose to mix. they were all prescribed, in my opinion his death was a tragic accident. The Rev will live on forever through this music I don't want him to be known as a druggie though.
