Is the evaporation from the leaves, caused by your fan altering the density of the sap in the leaf. This causes the denser sap to flow down? A downward flow cannot take place without a return flow in the plant and tree. So does this down flow cause a return flow to draw up the water from the glasses the same as a tree draws water from the soil generated by tension from the falling sap in the phloem? Andrew K Fletcher is onto something big!
