He uses two microphones because they have different cardoid patterns which means they give different sound quilties, the main mic he uses is a stantard live mic which is alot more easier to mix, the other one gives a deeper sound but is alot harder to contral and if he was running around with that one their would be loads of feedback and unwanted noise. i hope that answers you question

Skindred is by far the best, there are some older stuff like dubwar (benji from skindreds first band), raw bud(hard to find), The urge, raggadeath, and sevendust. Just dont expect anything as good as skindred.
