Have you by chance looked at your youtube channel profile? Because it say's and i quote "I have friends and family who are Baptists, Roman Catholic"..... So can you please explain this? lol GBU
Sorry then but you do not know much about your own Church. The Church does not call itself the Roman Catholic Church. Maybe you just think you are a Catholic.
@Bingolly1 oh my God, you need to read into our history man...We are part of the Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican is the head office and I saw your profile and you are just a baby catholic.
@montaverna I am faithful to my KJV because God has preserved His Word for us, when two different Bibles say two different things, it poses a major problem. If they are different, at least one of them is incorrect. I simply do not want my Bible to be a source of confusion. And there have been over 6,000 changes in different "perVersions" of the BIBLE... so i stick with my KJV... GBU :-)
And which version of the KJV? The 1611 had 4 different editions. And after that there were various versions of the same KJV. Do you honestly think the KJV is devoid of error?
So why do you want to be faithful to a 'thing'? Christ is the Word.
"You search the scriptures, because you think you have eternal life through them; even they testify on my behalf. But you do not want to come to me to have life."
@montaverna The so-called "revisions" of the KJV prior to 1800 were to correct typographical errors, & omit the Apocrypha from between the Testaments. There were no changes in the actual TEXT of the KJV. The REAL changes (over 36,000) didn't start until the modern revisionists came on the scene. No one has ever proven that there are errors & contradictions in the KJV. Many "Christians" have a habit of pointing out contradictions to people, but these arguments have been disproven so many times.
I've given up on this point. Catholics have insisted to me that they were Roman Catholic, but it's right to bring this up in this context because it's conspiratorial and "Roman" is necessary for the puzzle to fit together, and in that case it's clearly not right.
The Catholic Church has never called itself the Roman Catholic Church. I am not even sure rusda2 knows where the name Roman Catholic Church comes from. The context it is always used in is the negative context. It must sound better to people that way:) GBU
Then why do you call your friends and family "Roman Catholic" on your channel?

Protestants call the latin rite Roman Catholic. The Church never calls itself the Roman Catholic Church. You must really not be a Catholic.

@crazydreamz84
Can't you count the number of angels on the head of pin?
Begining with Luther and specifically with Henry VIII the addition of 'Roman' was made. Bingolly is correct.
By the way...why are you 'faithful' to the KJV ?
(says so on your channel....:)....)..
Christ is the Word of God.

Actually the revisions began as soon as the 1611 edition was published.
