@soniclover029918 Walking through the snow with my sweetheart as we hold hands to keep each other warm...^^ Winter is nice when your with the one you love your always warm. (:
I don't care if its technically still fall, i'm moving onto winter. Its December and its colder the Freezeezy Peak outside (call me a nerd, I know its corny lol)!
@rootbeer543 Funny thing is it can snow around here every month except July. I've never seen snow in August but my dad saw flurries in August once. But it's cold enough in October and May that usually every other year you see some kind of snow.
@rootbeer543 Sadly in many places this year it's true since this is the wimpiest winter I can ever remember. Usually from about mid-November until early April there's a constant snowcover with high temperatures never above 45.
@MVillani1985 I know. A few years back we got like 2 feet of snow, it stuck around Christmas, and then it snowed more on Christmas. That was the best Christmas ever.
@rootbeer543 Snowiest winter I remember is 93-94. We had a blizzard around Thanksgiving, then got hit right around Christmas again, then there was so much snow in January and February that they ran out of snow days and everyone had to go to school in nightmarish conditions and they ran out of places to put it. Winter didn't really end until sometime in April, but snow stuck around in parking lots until June. There was a wall of ice along the main road with holes poked in to turn out of.
When December 21st hits, Im going to play the winter version on my euphonium, but I could play percussion. It would sound better on percussion. Fall version was fun to play though <3
In my opinion, Zelda Ocarina of Time is the best game ever, number two beeing Banjo Kazooie. But the music in this game beats everything else mile high!
first snow of the season just hit, listening to this, looking at the window with all the lights off, only a candle on the window sill and a street light down the block leaving my area somewhat in darkness, but just light enough to see the snow falling, i want to go back in time and play this again.....................games are not what they used to be like..........i lament the past and painfully acknowledge that i grew up in a special time....the 90's were truly a gift, if u r 20 something.....
@thatstheway53 It was amazing. I used to play it all the time with my brother. Those were days. :( Good thing the games had such awesome soundtracks, really helps keep the memories alive. I rarely play it anymore since I have no one to play it with. Everyone at my school plays COD or Halo. I'm the only one who still plays these timeless classics. It saddens me because if they took the time to really get into them I bet they would realize what these games have to offer.
@rootbeer543 hahah yeah, its a shame that our childhood quickly faded, but we were lucky to have it, i plan on buying a n64 and all the games i had as a kid, if my kid enjoys games thats what he will play. Great times.
@thatstheway53 I'm going to introduce my kids to these games for sure first. Hopefully they're able to take in the whole nostalgia of the game we were able to take in as little kids.
@gaypotter Its: FUCKYOU MICROSOFT and those at NINTENDO who sold RARE... damn these were great games, alongside JFG. I wonder what if we had Dunosaur planet instead of the crap SFAd was... another title would be in my collection
@Bman54X C'mon even the geography from BJ beats down the amount of time it takes to finish SFAd, whats worse, am pretty sure its the shortest 3D game from Rare, even they said thtat they cut down a lot of places for the sake of timeleft to reprogram the game and for the ridiculous story. BTW it was a cousin who wrote the first comment with this account I just noticed he put it 1 week before me.... bastard, gotta teach him a lesson.
@EDWARDCR Hey, I never said SFA was better than Banjo-Kazooie. I definitely like Banjo more, but i still love StarFox. And it was not a short game at all! There was a bunch of levels. Felt sort of like a Zelda game.
@Bman54X It was a lame zelda game, for such kind of hing I rather go with Okami (better than any zelda so far) but you have to admit these levels were tremendously easy and short, actually I spent only 5:45 hours in it and I was goofying around, while BK, BT or JFG take me 7, 9 an 9:42 NOT goofying around. Yet, we all admit somehing: SFAd had wonderfull graphics, in case you reply PM me or else we will alienate people over this.
This game will always mean a lot to me. There's just too many childhood memories with it. Its always been my favorite game for as long as I can remember. Although Banjo-Tooie's a great game too, this one just has something it doesn't, I can't quite put my finger on it. I love this game and it'll always be my favorite game of all time. I'll still be playing it when i'm 50 years old. :)
@rootbeer543 i went through a devorce and went home turned on my n64 played this game and i almost immediatly felt better so this game chears me up every time i feel blue so this game has a place in my heart to
@MegaHalomaster101 Its just impossible to be sad or angry while playing this game. lol I love it so much. Especially this level. Its almost like each season is a different level. I mean each one has such a different atmosphere and feeling. The music changes so much and the the whole tone changes completely. I think the reason why this game can make you feel better when your down is because it takes you back to the care free times of your childhood. When nothing but living mattered.
Whenever I want to play this game but don't feel like taking the time to, the music is all the motivation I need to do a playthrough. I usually do speedruns. Its been a while since I just did a playthrough and took in all the nostalgia of it. A nice playthrough is the top of my to-do list.
i have played video games since 1986 when i was 4 this is one of the games that has and will always hold a soft spot in my heart. My 3rd favorite game on n64
oh god I love this game so much:) once a year I pull out my N64 I spend a hour to figure out how to hook it up on my new TV and then it's about 3-4 months of fun with all my old games:D
@fikolala for sure : (( this game, along with zelda o.o.t and super mario (one of 1st 64 games to come out) were wonderful and fun to play...Now all the game companys will compete over graphics and realistic crap...but no fun story and quirky humor and cool puzzles.
I'm 16 and I barely remembered this game, beating it when I was around.. 3 or so I think. With my friend helping me on it whenever I was stuck. Few years ago I got it for the Wii Virtual Console and played it. After a few hours I went and looked for a few hours in my garage and dug up my N64 and all my old games. Nostalgia, and I wasn't even old enough to remember all of it.
@PolarBearsFtw Dude I'm in the same boat as you, I'm 16. I wish I was just a couple years older, because I was still too young to really play it, so I just watched my brother :( The memories are still there though. It sucks that our gaming "prime" was wasted on the Gamecube. I mean the GC wasn't bad, but I wished I could have really grew up on the N64.
the whole spring to winter thing felt like the game was trying to teach me something, people grow up and just go their ways, oh well. I'm still here playing banjo and kazooie and i'm 25.
@fikolala Ah, I see what you mean. It's because of the eagle, am I right? For some reason, I really felt sad when I saw my flower and Eerie in the winter... by the way, I turned 27 two days ago.
@Quietschquatsch its just that feeling that you had ALOT more fun in spring and summer with the beehive and shit then in the winter, it felt so cold alone and as if everyone you once knew and had alot of fun with just left.
the only way you'd ever see them again was to go back in time and enter spring/summer. Sad feeling
@savtoz I don't know if you know it, but Freezeezy peak was the only level that wasn't shown in the preview (when you DON'T press start). But they showed the winter from Click clock wood.
This game was my entire summer of '98. And then, in spring of '00, it helped get me through the most brutal breakup I ever had. Definitely has a place in my heart.
I don't know why but I always love getting to this place. God damn I miss the old days wen you could walk into a Gamestop and say "hey do you got a copy of Banjo-Kazooie?" and they would say "yeah you should find it over there on the N64 shelf" as apposed to now when you'd say "hey do you have a copy of Banjo-Kazooie?" and they say "no we don't see N64 games anymore". :'(
@PorkyPenguin2 Personally, I thought it was funny in an ironic sort of way in that you get the extra life, lose a life, and come back with exactly the same number of lives as before.
this is easily the most relaxing song that i have ever heard. i wish that more games would be made like this, and not stressing you out like call of duty.
I like this song, the tune and the effort being put into it. I like how every season of Click Clock Wood matches their song, what I don't like is that they had to make the theme sound Christmas(ish) to interpret the Winter side of Click Clock Wood. I don't like Christmas representing winter! Good thing there was no Santa Claus when Vivaldi was alive and that's why his winter symphony is so good.
this was and still is my favorite game of all time, no game can ever come close i wish i could get all the songs that arent on the soundtrack on my ipod but idk how to do it
this was and still is my favorite game of all time, no game can ever come close i wish i could get all the songs that arent on the soundtrack on my ipod but idk how to do
I remember collecting all the notes, jinjos, jiggys, and everything else in all but the winter part. I searched around and must have had about 85 notes, 4 jinjos, and 9 jiggys. Then I decided I'd go in the water...I realized my health was going down twice as fast, and hurried back to the hole...not enough time. I then realized "I have to go back to all of the seasons, and collect every scattered note, and all the jinjos again..." It's a shame that's all I can think of when I hear this music...:(
I live in Montreal where the snow is really big. I remember that on day my school closed because of a giant blizzard. I spent all my day playing Banjo Kazooie!! :)
When you finally get to Winter in Click Clock Woods it feels like the game is coming to an end. :(.....Except if you drown trying to get that last empty honeycomb. D:<
its crazy thinking how fast time really does fly by i remember when i was 4 watching my older brother play this game when he was like 10. Know he 22 and im 16 and he moved out havent saw him in 4 months. it sucks i kinda miss them days
@DevilDogHoorah Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. Funny how most of the the memories of my siblings that are the most vivid, are the one revolving around video games. Ah...it's really depressing.
you gotta admit the church bells at 1:24 are a little religious for a game, and that they put a haunted church in MMM, but i dont really care cuz im Christian :D
@Nightbarb im saying they are church bells, did i say they weren't connected to winter bells? no, im saying they're just church bells which people go to in winter too
How worth while is it when you enter desolate winter wonderland with evil snowmen and then you hear the eagle YOU have been raising and feeding caterpillars all year long to finally grow up into an adult and he gives you which should have been the final jiggy in the level and flies offhow i wished he went through every level and kicked those snowmens arses :)
You know, This Last part of the winter level gets me sad knowing I'm close to finish the game
:(.

Well, that is the one exception to the rule, lol

Really, just one word:
Nostalgia.
skarpengland 1 year ago 3
I remember collecting all the notes, jinjos, jiggys, and everything else in all but the winter part. I searched around and must have had about 85 notes, 4 jinjos, and 9 jiggys. Then I decided I'd go in the water...I realized my health was going down twice as fast, and hurried back to the hole...not enough time. I then realized "I have to go back to all of the seasons, and collect every scattered note, and all the jinjos again..." It's a shame that's all I can think of when I hear this music...:(

you gotta admit the church bells at 1:24 are a little religious for a game, and that they put a haunted church in MMM, but i dont really care cuz im Christian :D
Joeant20 1 year ago
@Joeant20 yes....
because bells are an exclusively religious item...
wow...
wwyd4akb 1 year ago 2
@wwyd4akb there's a difference between church bells and normal bells, those are church bells
Joeant20 1 year ago
@Joeant20
Yes, there is no way they can be connected to winter bells... right?
Nightbarb 1 year ago
@Nightbarb im saying they are church bells, did i say they weren't connected to winter bells? no, im saying they're just church bells which people go to in winter too
Joeant20 1 year ago
@Joeant20 Those aren't church bells.
Church bells ring alot louder :)

ahhh my childhood comes screaming back.
