Thank you for this lovely share. Tom Paxton is the greatest folk writer of our time. So many great hits we think of as sung by others, we all owe much grats to this man. Thanks Mr. Paxton for making so many memories, & yes this was my fave song at all those parties mom drug me to when I was just a wee lass * though I knew I loved it then, I didn't realize how precious this gift was. They just don't make 'em like they used to.
