FYI, the only reason Aaron Baddeley's swing in this video looks horrible to you and thinks he's hitting weak fades, he's not. The camera was not on the right DTL view of his swing, causing it to look like he's going OTT... but he hits high draws now and he can work it much easier!
Well I have to say I work at the TPC Scottsdale and I watch Tour Players hit several times a week and you guys that are bashing his swing are in for a surprise. He has the best swing I have seen in the 6 months I have been there. He will not be at the bottom of the stats this year with his ball striking.
Tiger woods definitely has some part of stack and tilt swing. Most of great players have it too. Aaron won in tour once with stack and tilt swing and he gave up. no winning now.
no he dosnt do stack and tilt hes back with his old coach Dale lynch.
badds used to be a gun he won the aussie open as an amature at age 18 and again as a pro the next year. he used to be a awsm ball striker but now all he can do is putt the lights out
@rockinar YOUR A FUCKING DUMB FUCK why would a nation wide player play at a major? and also stack and tilt wasn't invented 10 years ago so he had a different swing not to long ago you stupid fuck
@rockinar It is Aaron Baddeley 100%. I am from Australia and have been following Badds for more than 10 years on our website. Plus of course every player has a name tag behind them so I have that on file if you require proof LOL
@rockinar That is Badds. He was not then and is not now S&T. He went back to his old swing and instructor. He also is sponsored by Adams- check the hat and bag- and Penguin- check the shirt and pants. And that is unquestionably his swing, tempo and follow through.
In the traditional swing the objective is to get to the weight to the front side, then create impact or you have less than desired striking. There is a great deal of timing to that method and it works great. The average player does not practice 1/100 the time these guys do.Stack and Tilt,The Right Sided Swing,or simply a front side tilt with a rotional move is much more user friendly.
why do people careso much about the golfswing? when those guys on tour go out to play on the course during a tournament, they arent thinking about their damn golfswing. its like kobe playing a game thinking about his shot or using his legs or something. he just shoots. pga tour pros are the same way. you guys dont get it.
hmmm i wouldnt quite say that i have friends that play on tour and they the stack and scramble guys hate there lives. true statements goodbye mike weir and all the others that are leaving stack
stack and tilt hmmm its funny that no one from stack and scramble played in the mercedes this year you know the tourney where when you win a tourney you get to play in hawaii. yeah thats funny that everyone is leaving stack and scramble cause it is honestly full blown retarded
i had the pleasure of watching him live pre s&t and after, i have to tell you he makes much better contact with s&t no question he will more then likely go back to it
Good thing he switched off the S&T. If he went back to his old coach before the S&T it'll only help him. He was a pretty good player pre-S&T. His swing looked nice at the '03 Sony.
what does tigers stack and tilt swing have to do with me winning aussie opens and from photos of tiger he is as stacked maybe not tilted but definitely stacked he is probably as centered if not more than mike bennett.
@KCGOLFER2010 to stay "stacked" you have to tilt. The spine should maintain its inclination to the ground, but during the course of the backswing, the spine changes from flexion, to extension with lateral side bend/tilt to the left. goes back to flexion at the "delivery position" and then progressively extends and laterally side bends/tilts to the right during the follow through as the hips slide forward... ya get me??
Badds swing and Dale Lynch sucks...Tiger uses S&T he wins plenty any just about any other pro on the tour incorporates it into their swing i can promise you that. I saw Plummer and Bennett on the range at the SHO and every teacher was talking to them asking for tips. Badds should go back to Stack and Win ha maybe he then would see a leaderboard
you are so full of shit mate, tiger stack and tilt. I've heard it all now. How many aussie opens have you won? Achieve something before you comment ya wannabe
if any of you ahd any idea you would know that aaron baddeley doesnt do stack and tilt anymore , hes gone back to his old coach dale lynch who he was with when he won 2 AUS opens
Agreed. And it's a good thing he is. If he wasn't a good putter he wouldn't be making any cuts! His ballstriking and driving just weren't good with the S&T.
He never really gave ST a chance. He will struggle for a year in this swing now because it will take time to adjust. Then he will be frustrated again, and change it again.
I love his classic simple swing. So glad to see him back to normal swing. Although stack and tilt swing looked good on him, I guess that was only because he just an amazing athlete. Hope he get some wins next year.
this is false. aron baddely hit six percent more fairways with stack and tilt than he has before or after. he has also never won in the u.s without stack and tilt. his world ranking is now back to where it was pre stack and tilt(nearly 170). you obviously do not understand how statistics can be manipulated.
his sing during stack and tilt was much more stable at key positions in the swing, this "new" swing is just him overrotating and hittin lil weak fades...good luck wit that badds
Well, his hands are more over his shoulder now, before he was way flat which would make it harder to shape shots. His overall positions with the takeaway are more on plane, he has a weight shift now, which will end up giving him more distance. He also gets the club in front of his body better on the downswing.
Actually, from a teaching standpint, his swing doesn't look bad, he's more over his shoulder which is what I like to see (Even Tiger still has the club over his shoulder, more towards the seem of his sleeve but it's up there). I would like to see more flexing or bending his knees, not have the club point so far left at the top, and have him not take the culb away so far to the outside. UNC isn't far off he just doesn't know how to say what he means.
First thing: PGA Pro, I know what I was trying to say so F you! Secondly, FJ Classic, you laughing at me or teacher boy, and instead of twelling people why they are wrong tell us what was so great about the stack and tilt when statistically speaking Bads has been the worst ball striker on Tour and the best putter?
He went from 160th to 18th in the world while working with Andy Plumber and Mike Bennett, he won 3 times, never had won before or since. when he left he was ranked 38th, he is currently 60th or something. His swing progressed and he became a much better ball striker but went back to his old habits and starting hitting weak fades and deflections. His swing is as bad now as it ever has been, if it wasn't for his shortgame he would not make a cut. These are facts,
He only has won twice on tour, but good try. Won two Austrailian opens as an amatuer with the guy he's with now. Badds has been the worst ball striker even when he did use Stack and Tilt. He even said he is trying to get a better golf swing which is why he is leaving Plumber and Bennet, and he's been on the bottom of the ball striking stats for three years now. So his shortgame kept him his card the last three years.

badds is back to his best swing
he used to hit the ball so long and so straight before he moved to America
before he went to fuckin leadbetter the twat
then he fucked shit up even more with stack and tilt
the only reason he could play good with such a cuntish swing was his amazing short game
when he was S&T he was the lowest in fairways and greens for any guy who kept their tour card
how does that equate to him needing to go back to S&T?
