We ROCK deaf and hard of hearing!! First a deaf actor now a deaf rapper! This is so freaking cool. Myself is hard of hearing 17 in a acting school taking classes to be come an actor and also my friend whos hard of hearing and 2 of my other friends one is deaf and one is hard of hearing are also in my school taking classes but for dancing!!! I know we all as one can be just like the hearing world but different!!!! :)
The only thing deaf people cannot do is hear, and these videos offer clear evidence that deaf people can still enjoy music. Music is indeed a universal language!
Americas dance crew is way over the top. It would not work with these songs . The thing I like about these videos are the fact that they have soul and emotion

This is absolutely horrible. I don't see how the deaf community can't come up with a better representative to do dance moves / sign language than this guy. He doesn't move enough, he's stands in one spot too much.
You guys ever watch America's Top Dance Crew? Get a deaf guy who can sign and dance like that, now THAT will be something.
You CAN'T dance and sign at the same time. It's not possible. You try thinking in two languages at once and dancing at the same time, see what you get.
Sign Language can be very difficult to do, probably not as hard for the deaf, but to concentrate on what you are saying, and saying it with expression, and trying to have any kind of rhythm at all at the same time - that is a challenge. I'd like to see you try it.
of course the deaf can dance hell i doubt you cant dance as well as those in americas top dance crew and you cant sign as well as these people the fact that both have been practicing most of there life i dont expect the blind to draw like michael angelo either but you might be able to do something i cant even fathom oh and the whole not moving might have to do with signs being misinterpreted cause many signs are similar so...
My husband is an interpreter. He first found out about the dvd through his interpreting conference or something of the sort for interpreters and bought a dvd for us. I love the dvd and hope that they will continue to produce more! My deaf friends and I have said how we'd like to be a part of the performance as well maybe for future dvds.
Awesome! I actually have the DVD and my children keep asking to watch it. They each have a favorite song and have memorized the signs for "their" song. Thanks for putting out a great product that appeals to my hearing and Deaf children equally! This really does "bridge the gap" in a beautiful and inspiring way. :)
great job and please get with me i will like to meet u in person
