How is anyone going to be interested in God when there is someone that's a "Christian" and condemning everyone of them? Didn't Jesus tell us that He didn't come into the world to condemn it but to save it (John 3:17)? Everything is done with the compact CD's. I don't understand them. They look like shiny records to me but they don't play on the old record player. How is anyone going to be interested in God when there is someone that's a "Christian" and condemning everyone of them? Didn't Jesus tell us that He didn't come into the world to condemn it but to save it (John 3:17)? It's not about how someone is living that sends them to Hell, it's not believing and accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. That is what changes a person and how they live. Jesus didn't condemn those He preached to and we shouldn't either. Need more love of God and less condemnation.

@doubleg35 I think you are mixing two seperate meanings of the word judge together incorrectly. Meaning #1 - to condemn or punish. Meaning #2 - to determine and proclaim right from wrong. Those men had every authority to stone the woman to death, except for one thing - they were themselves breaking the law. The Law required the man who slept with the woman to be stoned along with her, so there punishment was planned in hypocrisy.

In fact, he not only upheld the moral laws but expanded them, proclaiming lust to be adultery, hatred to be murder, sabath rest to be walking in the spirit, etc. We demonstrate our love to Christ by obeying the moral law. Jesus said "If you love me, you will obey my commands". Sin is still sin. And sin is the opposite of love.

Let's not throw the baby out w/ the bath water. There may a few ministers out there who are in love w/ money, but that does not mean the Church exists to maximize profits. The Church is the body of believers, it's not Microsoft.
To set the story straight - when Christianity first started in ancient Palestine, Jews who believed Christ is the Messiah (the first Christians) were persecuted (killed etc) by fellow Jews for their belief. It is not religions that are hypocritical, it is the religious.
