Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I wanna be as good soundin as you! Mah tone is a bit sharper, and I don't have that much control over it, but it makes for some mean fast jazz improvin'! Still, that tone of yours is godly, and I want it man!
Nice work man... you get some amazing tones out of your instrument. I used a little sample of this clip in a song and they want to use the song in an independant feature film. Is this original music? If so, I want to make sure you get credit. I also wanted to email you a copy and see what you think.
Not bad but you are not respecting the songs. You chopped up both tunes, missed entire phrases. I suggest you memorize the song straight before you try to embellish or add style. First things first, know the song. Thanks to youtube, you can listen to several musicians and singers playing your songs to get a good feel for the song, and in various keys.
The trumpet is one of the harder instruments to get a 'good" sound on which includes playing in tune. You "got it" might as well flaunt it on Youtube. A good horn mouthpiece combo does help
@snotbog1 that equipment there was a bach 37 medium large bore trumpet very versatile horn u can play classical to jazz with dat w a bach mega tone mouthpiece 5c with a 22 backbore and 25 throat
You sound really good - I really like your tone and articulation and phrasing. I've just picked my horn up for the first time in about 14 years, so I have a ways to go before I can play half as good as that, but you've done a good job of motivating me nonetheless - thanks.
@KnackForMac I have a partially clef lip so my right part of my lip is slightly high so i tend to place the mouthpiece there for cushion went thru years of embochure probs hahahaha
adbarboherre you can learn at any age man. The trumpet is fun bro it takes some practice but its enjoyable. Practice some long tones bro :) ! Thanks for the comment!
That was really good dude.. excelent job!! I've always had the idea of learning the trumpet but I never had the time, now I have it but I'm 32, is it too hard? would be too late for me?
You sound really great. Im loving that first song you start off with. Im loving it so much that I wanna try and play it myself. What is the name of it and who is it by. Thanx.
I use a 5c as well. The mouthpiece is a bach megatone mouthpiece. The cup is not deep it has the same depth as the 5c. It just has a extra metal shank over it for a darker sound. The pieces at in different keys. The first one is in Eb for trumpet. Round midnight is in Db and Straight, no Chaser is in G.
love round midnight.

That sounds great. I am only in 8th but and still waiting for that kind of tone. Any "tricks" you have?
PS- I have braces and it's more difficult to play. Have you had braces? If so how did you cope with the mouth change?
Thanks a lot.
