Correct me if I'm wrong but when you order this cooler it DOES NOT come with the small heatsinks and the mounting bracket, these HAVE to be ordered separately from Arctic Cooling themselves due to the short shelf life of the adhesive. delivery usually takes 10 to 14 days from Hong Kong.
Polecam
this cooler does keep the gpu temps down. but could you recommend what to do with the small heat sink. it keeps falling off if i use mx-2 or arctic silver 5 when it gets hot wont it just fall of again.
@kemalregisseur they have one for a GTX 480 but the accessory kit that includes the heatsinks, plates is a pita to find right now. People are hitting 30 degrees idle and 50 degrees overclocked load temps on a gtx 480 with this cooler. I will own one when they are more readily available in the states.
Excellent video, well made, very good quality and clear audio.
Shame that at the time you could not show us the application of the smaller heatsinks, temperatures would probably have been slightly lower as well. Just wondering about noise, I have a Coolermaster Cosmos S and as you might know the side panel is basically mesh, will it be too loud ?
Thanks for giving us a look at this cooler. It would have been nice to see temps on a loaded gpu rather than just idle temps. I think load temps are much more significant, as that is the reason most people upgrade the stock cooler :)
because at the time this was a review product and if i did this this wouldn't be reusable for the company, however they have let me keep it so i have them on it now it is actually mine. - thanks for commenting
I have one of these coolers on my GTX275 and the max temp while gaming reaches 52deg, this is with the fan speed on 40%, which is virtually silent. All in all it's a great cooler.
BTW, you forgot to mention the difference in noise. Good review though...
i have a gtx 275 with stock cooling at full load it runs at 27oc at 100 % fan speed but what i find out when i put it on 100% fan speed at 27oc it seems to crash but when its at 44oc at full which is at 50% fan speed my system seems to run great. i think cable management plays a major part too. what do think?
i beat he can play ultra on crysis 2 and CDMF3

@golfvr6charged depends on size of your case rlly, an atx case with two cards in SLI though having them one PCI slot apart should fit.

how quiet is it in comparison to a typical stock cooler?

@LemonPieLoL much quieter compared to the blow-dryer design method. You won't be able to hear it even on full load when its inside your case.

or does it stick with double sided tape underneath the heatsink.
