  • i have watched your film for years since i was 14 im now 32 and stil its my favorite film and i cry everytime i watch it it breaks my hart everytime i am engish and ashamed of how the english treat you if i evergo to milltown cemetary i would lay flowers on your fathers grave he was a strong man x

  • Upsetting,,, I just hope the people that dine this and played a roles to all this die a nasty death..

  • I can't endure this...my father died at 82 very quickly and was never autopsied and it almost killed me. This to me is surreal. I can't believe that British courts still haven't paid for what they'd done to Giuseppe Conlon and the whole family. But how can you repay a father back to his son after he's died? I'd never forgive them. Never.

  • Damn I've got shitty speakers. I can't hear it. I can't imagine the hell he went through watching his innocent father die in prison.

  • @rebelnomo they were in different prisions

  • @iTsHutchy I can't imagine the hell he went through knowing his father was dying in prison. Is that better? Damn movies always gotta make stupid changes like that.

  • I've never been more furious watching a movie than I was when I saw 'In the Name of the Father'. I can't imagine how helpless it would feel to be in that position, and not just for the Conlon's, but everyone unlawfully detained.

  • Gerry. I am English but I feel your pain. I am sorry for what the British government did to you. Let's not use it to increase fear and hatred of eachother...let us move forward together....English and Irish, and Welsh and Scots. Once again, I'm sorry. I wish you well.

  • @xpat73 well said :)

  • As a Brit living in the Republic or Ireland, I have to say that I am ashamed to be English. It's disgusting what happened.

  • @TVisHELL I think you should Never let it be shame you into being English. I used to feel ashamed of being Irish back in the 90s when the Troubles were still going and we'd hear of another IRA Bomb somewhere. But I tried to stop feeling that way, and instead I became more ashamed that "they" were Irish (I feel that way not about the RIRA C**ts). It had nothing to do with us the same as what happened to the Conlons and Maguires had nothing to do with the British Public.

  • floored by the movie. this story is unbelievable! us conlons in the usa are having much better lives than this poor sap who got his life fucked up by corrupt brits

  • the brits should be ashamed...

  • @DeanGannon2010 fuck off. More 'brits' were on the Conlons side than against. It was a corrupt few that should be ashamed.

  • @DeanGannon2010 No the people responsible shoulld be. Don't use this miscarriage of justice to tar us all with the same brush. What happened to Conlon was a travesty.

  • @xpat73 Your dead right, the people responsible should be ashamed and that goes for all the people who commited atrocities on both sides of the conflict. Its their groups that should be tarnished not the whole nations as a whole or their people.

  • I'm so sorry for what the Brits did Gerry. May your father rest in peace.

  • I COULD SEE ON GERRY'S EYES THAT HE IS A TRUE MAN OF PRINCIPLES AND I ADMIRE HIM

  • Mr Conlon, really feel for you and your family,Rip your dad,and best wishes to you.An ashamed Brit.

  • Gerry, we won't forget !

  • Horrowing!! Hope you're in a better place Giuseppe, RIP
