It costs money to produce music, of course, but in our internet age it doesn't cost them any more if one person downloads or watches a music video or if a million people do it. It makes sense to charge for music if you're buying a physical record, but not if it's digital. Society needs to find a new way to financially compensate artists.

I know how the music business works, and I think it is an outdated system; fine for the pre-digital age, but not for now. This is the Thursday song I like best of all. My favorite part is "Last night my teeth fell out like ivory" I love the bass chords in this part. The whole ethos of this song is fantastic - it captures the nihilistic drudgery of a dour 9 till 5 existence and turns it into something epic and romantic as only Thursday can do.
