I love Kaku's ideas, since they are pretty much accurate. Type 0 to Type 1? I hope we don't destroy ourselves then, there are soooo many things that can go wrong. @NorthernDancer1111 actually most of what he says is rubbish. So-called advanced species work in balance with the universe and the `energy concept' is a redundant one. First, you need to know what the question is before you go looking for answers. Scientists are often the most stupid and ignorant of people as this gentleman shows.

If one believes that aliens are already here then what is the purpose of SETI? Any purpose? Sending radio waves & tv outward is pointless. We've nothing of any real value from the moon missions except a few rocks. There should be a secret astronomy guild that gets all the classified data to determine which way these sciences will go. To waste high order minds without the truth is ugly. OK don't release this to everybody but make it available for those hunting the true data online..
