  • you make lots of very good, valid points in this video. i think twilight sends young, impressionable girls many false messages about love. love isn't about utterly depending on someone who has no (or appears to have no) flaws, it's about loving and partnering with someone DESPITE their flaws. all the hype just needs to die- twilight sucks.

  • well. As a proud asexual, I'm very disgusted by Bella's near constant begging for sex. For those of you who don't see the problem in it, it's very emotionally dragging. You don't want to but you wife/significant other keeps on dragging it up making you feel horrible until you finally give in. Which makes you feel worse. Edward might not have my feelings but that's my opinion. I was nearly vomiting in Breaking Dawn.

Also feeding baby with blood made me scream with rage. Meyers fails biology.

  • I haven't read through all the comments, but I just wanted to point out that it's also harmful for one's body to actually drink blood. The plasma in it is harmful to the human body in that way. Which, y'know, is something SMeyer would have known if she'd bothered to ever research...

  • Looks like I hit a nerve. That was not my intent. Just trying to get a better feel for your mission. I didn't call anyone a Bitch... You should be able to handle the controversy better then this. Good luck to you.

  • Hit a nerve? More like annoyance... What do you expect when you go and rag on someone for expressing their opinion? It wasn't even just one little comment- you took the time to comment FIVE times lecturing me... Again- this says a lot more about you than it does about me...

  • I would also like to add this quote from Stephen King in USA today, Feb 2, 2009:

"Both Rowling and Meyer, theyre speaking directly to young people. ... The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer cant write worth a darn. Shes not very good."

    I LOVE STEPHEN KING!!!

  • I guess I just don't see how the Twilight series is any different from any other fictional series with a vampire theme. Anne Rice for example. Really, wouldn't your time be better spent doing community service or focusing on the positives in your life?

  • I didn't realize that I had to make sure you approve of how I spend my time. Surely you've never had a conversation about something you didn't like. You must sure be a saint, filling your days with nothing but passionate volunteer work and selfless acts of making the world a better place. Oh wait- you read Twilight and take the time to tear me down. So... hypocrite much? If it's a waste of my time to make these, what does it say about you spending your time commenting?!

  • The great thing about this country is that we have the freedoms that we do. So I will exercise my freedom to allow my daughter to read fiction. I know many families who have read this series together. Just as mine has done. However those same families take the opportunity to talk with and educate their children. The books are not the problem.

  • So do you do this same kind of thing for those that think Sesame Street is real? What about cartoons? Veggie Tales? Do your watchers think they can talk to fruit and veggies and you feel the need to explain to them that they can't? I guess I am just asking what is the point of your banter? You have not said anything I didn't already know in your posting. I am sure this goes for most of your watchers. I also know this is fiction and that my reading the book is purely entertainment.

  • Do you really think that being a condescending BITCH is doing anyone any good? Have you heard of sarcasm? Or having an opinion? Lady- you have problems if I can upset you this much with a 10 minute youtube video.

  • Do you really think that there are a mass amount of people out there that are not able to see this as a work of fiction? I am a first amendment kinda gal and I believe you have the right to say what ever you like about the books. However that same right applies to Ms. Meyer. So I ask again what exactly is your goal here? I think its very arrogant of you to assume that people are that dumb.

  • So what exactly is your mission here? Is it to education stupid people about the fictional storyline of the Twilight series? To make sure that they know that the things in the book could not possibly have happened the way Stephanie Meyers says they did?

  • "Princess"- the real question is what is YOUR mission? To humiliate me or to "put me in my place?" I'm allowed to voice my opinion. Look around youtube. Am I the only one doing so? And if I had been gushing about how wonderful it was, would you be supporting me or would you still tell me it's pointless? What is the point of your (many) hateful posts? I have many supporters, so your inability to "understand" that I just wanted to post my opinions doesn't really bother me.

  • beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • wow you get offended by a lot of stuff.

You need to understand this was someones WORK OF ART. they pulled this from deep inside of themselves. if YOU are soooo offended by all of it you should stop watching it.

  • If this is art that SM pulled from deep inside herself... wow. That's SAD, and a little frightening...

  • Your not fat or ugly. I like how you explained your feelings on your diff point of beauty.

I loved the Twilght series, but i saw the problems. I mean Bella begging for sex, kinda got old

  • Stephenie Meyer is SO VERY CLEARLY emotionally unhealthy.

You have really pointed out some things (since I couldn't even get through the first book without throwing it against a wall) that I didn't know. I would absolutely forbid my daughter from taking such crap seriously (if I had one). The stuff these books are teaching girls is absolutely appalling.

I had little respect for SM to begin with...now I have zero.

  • oh. please excuse my spelling mistakes.

  • Hahaha, you actually have some prety true points. BUUUUT, I would like the point out that (referring to your last point), Edward doesn't ususally (or ever) stay home at night, he goes and watched Bella sleep remember? Or probably goes hunting or whatever.

It would be...uncomfortable is he did stay home..

  • wtf??? blood smoothie thats fucking sick and psychopathic thats omg i dont even have words to describe how fucking ass sick

  • I think that all your videos made perfect sense and I hated the book too. The drinking blood thing I didn't even think of! The sex was disgusting and Stephenie has very young readers and she knows it! Edward asking JACOB (his worst enemy) to have SEX with Bella was......creepy and gross. I agree with you 101%! TO THE DARK SIDE!!!!!!

  • You are totally right.I picked out so many issues with the damn book,+ you raised interesting points on the whole blood consumption I hadnt thought about but now totally agree with!I thought Bella was stepping over a line too begging for sex. Its so obvious shes trying to use her tears to play him, and it's just something you wouldnt do to someone you care about.I think youre brilliant, and ignore the asses who cant handle a prettier face than theirs. Excellent vid!

  • You Are Not Fat Or Ugly!! Dont Listenn To Them People! Rock On!

  • I think when Meyer was writing about her drinking blood, she didnt think scientifically, coz alot of her young readers dont think scientifically either, so i think it didnt matter. I had no problem with Bella wanting sex. Its pretty much just a symbol of their love, and it makes the book more intense and the mornings after are halarious. You had some good points. But BD is still my fav. Again, if you dont like BD, no one cares, take the book back if you dont like it, and just forget about it! GOD

  • Actually, LOTS of people care.

Second- why are you still watching my vids if they piss you off so much!? I'm baffled by you people.

And I don't care if teens think scientifically or not- if she started saying Bella (as human) could fly, you'd think it was ridiculous. There are things that work, and things that don't. SM DOESN'T work.

  • Excuse you? For one, many people think scientifically. Impossible means impossible. The blood wouldn't reach the baby, therefore Bella - and the baby - should have died. Begging for sex is not a symbol of love. Are you so Romantically-Challenged you think begging for someone to fuck you means love? On another matter, I think it'd be lovely if you spoke for yourself. If you think 'no one cares, but they're commenting anyways', you must be pretty stupid.

  • Whatever, im just saying i didnt think scientifically, and the author probably just couldnt think of another way to keep bella and the baby alive, she probly had the 'anythings possible' attitude about it, after bellas in a world with werewolves and vampires. I admit, begging for sex isnt very loving, but i never said BEGGING, i said i didnt have a problem with her WANTING. Dont bother replying, im over fighting over youtube. Its pretty dumb. I was just sharing my opinion.

  • blood smoothie?!?!?! that sick bastard

  • i agree with your scientific stance on the issue of the blood drinking, but i enjoyed that part. it's all theatrics, and would never work, but that's what makes it fantasy. and on your ideas of bella begging for sex, i mean, come on. in eclipse it was childish for her to beg. but in breaking dawn, they're married! they love each other! they're not in a rocky relationship or are repulsed by each other! it's right for her to want sex. you can't say that you wouldn't want sex with your HUSBAND.

  • I have no prob with the idea that she wanted sex with her hubby, but no means no. Edward was in agony over it- and he had good reasons. She didn't respect that, which is particularly ironic since she supposedly wouldn't reach out to him during her change because she loved him so much she didn't want him to hurt. So she resisted the most excruciating pain imaginable, but she can't resist her sex urges? Right. Bella was out of line and showed Ed extreme disrespect in this situation.

  • If you're 15 like your profile says, there are things about marriage and sex and healthy adult relationships that you may not be able to understand at this point. I don't mean that in a condescending way, but it's still true.

  • It's about time someone stood up for TRUE beauty. You go! Twilight rocks and so do you!!!

  • no you'er not fat..you are pretty in you'er way.

  • and i'm not "obsessed" with you and your opinions... i'm just really offended that you have such negative thoughts on a book and author that i love and respect. i felt compelled to reply to your video because i think that the majority of things you said are utterly ridiculous and untrue.

  • I think her book is "utterly ridiculous", not to mention offensive and ethically irresponsible on her part.

  • why is it ridiculous?? I know that she is married and should have sex and its rude for her to ask when he said 'NO' but whats the problem with S.M?

  • I think the book is ridiculous because it's inconsistent with her previous books, jumps the shark, is full of plot holes and deux ex machinas, takes lame ways out and was extremely poorly edited. I think it's a sad excuse for a novel and she should be embarrassed to put her name on it. It wasn't even slightly entertaining to me. Flat out- I hated it.

  • Finally, I wanted to respond to your last comment. Yes, Edward can hear thoughts but he can't feel feelings can he? Of course he could imagine what sex would be like but I'm sure the act of actually doing it is hard to completely capture for someone who has never experienced it. Also, he said himself he was constantly trying to drown out everyone elses thoughts anyway... Hence how he became so good at playing piano or how he'd read all the books in Carlisle's library and why he was so smart etc

  • On your "Bella begging for sex" issue: I truly don't believe the point you're trying to make here. Yes, Edward says no to her the reason being he doesn't want to hurt her and he made his feelings completely clear about this. Yet Bella still continually begs him because Bella herself, simply did not see getting bruised as a pressing issue? Hence why she wanted to convince him to change his mind as - she thought he was overreacting.

  • It doesn't matter. No means no, it doesn't matter why that person is saying no. She was not respecting him and what he wanted. And even if she thought she was right and he was wrong- that's worse. She's assuming that her opinion is more valid than his. Bella, who was supposedly so strong a few chapters later when being changed that she wouldn't cry out to him b/c she didn't want to hurt him, had absolutely no problem ignoring his begging and pleading for her to leave the issue alone.

  • yes, but it wasn't "what he wanted" it was what he felt was the right thing to do under the circumstances. she is not assuming that her opinion is more valid - its just that the issue at hand is bella's own problem, and therefore HER business whether or not she gets bruised/injured or whatever. As for her strength when she changes, that is because she wants to be strong for edward and doesn't want him to suffer... regardless, i don't think she puts having sex and changing on the same level.

  • Either she's strong for him or she's not. Meyer can't have it both ways. The girl can't even control her horniness, but I'm supposed to buy that throughout excruciating pain she just chilled? Nope.

Again- I don't give a DAMN what her reasons for pushing Edward were- NO MEANS NO. He was begging her in agony. She didn't care that it was hurting him. She forced him. She did NOT respect his wishes. Whether she was right or wrong in him hurting her, she did not listen to what he wanted.

  • maybe she's a sex addict? i don't know, but whatever the reasons, i think you are delving way too deep into this.

  • okay, venom doesn't get you pregnant, sperm does. yes, obviously drinking blood feeds the baby because it is a vampire baby. i don't know much about biology so i can't argue with that but i mean, i'm part of the target audience (i'm 18) and it didn't affect me in the slightest whether or not this would or could happen in real life... i mean practically nothing else in the book would ever happen in true life so why should the babies' chromosomal count be any different?

  • I don't think that it's too deep at all. 1st, it's degrading for Bella to beg like that. 2nd- it's downright offensive that she won't respect Edward's wishes. It reinforces what was set up with Jacob- people don't have the rights to their own bodies. You admit you're 18. Maybe you don't see the significance of it yet- but really- these ARE big issues. You can sue your spouse for rape, so apparently someone does think that no means no. Why Bella doesn't is beyond me. It says a lot to me about SM.

  • yes your right i suppose, about the "no means no' thing. she was trying to take advantage of him and manipulate him because she knew he would eventually succumb and have sex with her... but seriously, at the time that i was reading it, not once did i consider (consciously or subconsciously, well as far as i know) that this was a hugely important issue. i just saw it in the way i explained to you before.

  • Well, that's not the way I saw it.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  • and fair enough, we can agree to disagree. i was simply expressing my opinion, as you expressed yours.

  • And actually, Meyer CAN have it both ways if she wants - her books, her rules. She can write however the heck she wants. Us fans enjoy it so that's really all that matters. When she began writing, I'm sure the last thing she expected was people like you to devote your lives to verbally bashing and disrespecting what she has done for so many people. Maybe her work isn't perfect but neither is anything else. I don't see why you don't just get over it, there are so many worse things to worry about.

  • She can have whatever she wants- but when she writes a book like BD, she's going to get what she got: TERRIBLE reviews from all the professional literary critics. "Devote my life?" I made a couple of youtube vids. There are people out there with hundreds of vids about twilight. Why is it okay to post thoughts as long as they are positive? I have every right to post whatever I want about SM. She's a terrible writer who lost a giant portion of her fanbase with this ridiculous joke of a "novel."

  • Her *remaining* fans may like it, but many of her former fans did not. And neither did any of the critics. And what has she "done" for so many people? She wrote a crappy series about an abusive stalker, a girl with no personality and a best friend who forces himself on her.

What I don't get is why you're so obsessed with me and my opinions. I'm not allowed to voice my thoughts on SM, but you're allowed to voice yours on my stuff? Hypocrite much?

  • no no, you are totally free to say what you feel and voice your thoughts etc. i respect that. i'm just saying i don't understand how it's so important - usually if i dislike something i'll get over it and move on. it would be much... better for you if you found something you did like and focus on that - it's healthier to be happy and positive about something than angry and upset about it.

  • These vids were made right after the release of the book. I'm not still sitting around talking about it- except to comment back. If you look at the dates, though, they were made within a few weeks of the release.

  • okay fair enough, i didn't actually know when you made these videos. either way the things you said did annoy me, just because i didn't see how people could be such avid haters of a book that i literally fell in love with, it just kind of shocked me. i only finished reading the series a few weeks ago so i was totally oblivious to the mixed reviews people seem to have.

  • Also, I don't think the blood was a pregnancy craving at all. It is the only necessary form of nutrition for vampires so I think Bella's need for it at this point, was a million times stronger than a mere food craving.

  • ... Bella isn't a vampire yet...

  • i know that, but the baby growing inside her was half vampire and therefore had needs i guess, ones that weren't being fulfilled properly. i'm saying the baby had a need/thirst or whatever for the blood... not bella herself.

  • It doesn't work that way. Everything the baby needs is passed through the umbilical cord in the form of blood anyway. Drinking blood does not give Bella more blood to feed the baby. It's a stupid idea and she should have left it out of the book. She should have left the entire book out of the book.

  • it doesn't matter if it "doesn't work that way"! do you honestly think that the target audience would be aware of the scientifics behind this?

  • Yes, it does. It makes a lot of difference. Either natural laws apply or they don't. Meyer is a hack writer who does what she wants whether or not it makes any sense. Venom gets you pregnant but doesn't change you? Drinking blood feeds the baby? 23+25=24 chromosomes? In her story, humans are humans. Therefore, human physiology applies. She can get away with some of the vamp/werewolf stuff b/c they are fictional. But you can't just bend physical law to fit your story. Well, good authors don't.

  • The blood is brought out in a cup with a straw (because Bella is too weak to put a cup to her lips - also, Bella is terrified of needles might I add so the IV drip would probably have also been hard for her). I think the fact that Bella was willing to at least try the blood says a lot about how desperate she was feeling ultimately, she wanted to survive and this therefore allowed her to face one of her worst fears.

  • Your argument is that she's so scared of needles that she'd rather drink a substance that was so gross to her she'd pass out at the sight or smell of it?

The bottom line is that it's fiction- SM was making crap up- and she wanted to seem edgy. It doesn't work physiologically, it is out of character, and a totally stupid concept. Epic fail.

  • Yes but it's irrelevant whether or not the concept is stupid... because it is a fictional novel (as you keep pointing out). My argument has nothing to do with her being scared of needles - i was simply just pointing it out.

  • All fiction requires that you suspend some level of reality. Good fiction, however, does so in such a subtle manner that you can buy into it, it seems feasible on some level. SM is a terrible writer who wrote a shit novel and she tried to be edgy and shocking. Instead she looked like an idiot and insulted the intelligence of her readers. Like it or not, that's my opinion- and I'm not alone in it.

  • On your Bella drinking blood issue, of course the point is definitely to shock people. It depicts the desperation and seriousness of the situation the fact that Bella is literally dying. Everyone is at their wits end and they are basically hoping for any kind of a miracle to help Bella come out of this.

  • This is the first time I've seen one of your videos and I have to say, I was quite ammused. You know what you're talking about and I enjoyed listening to you. I can't wait to look at some other videos.

  • LOL You are awesome :]

  • wtf? y wud it b unacceptable for someone in a BOOK to beg for sex? and how if the situation be better if it was reversed? im not tryin to be mean i just dont understand

  • You're actually very beautiful. Don't listen to the Twiturds.

Also, how are you going too far, when the point about the blood thing is so simple? You're supposed to go deep into books.

  • I haven't been on TDS in a while, so I am catching up on all your videos--I am only on the third one, but I LOVE YOU! I attended one of those midnight release parties of BD and stayed up to 4 AM reading. I was so disappointed for the exact same reasons that you have discussed (and will discuss I am sure in the videos I have not yet seen). Now, on November 30, close to 4 months after the release, I am STILL trying to get through BD once without throwing it down in total disgust!

  • Come on, I hate Renesmee too but please call her by her name, not the mutant spawn.

  • Nope. The name is absolutely idiotic and lame. And I won't use it. :)

  • Lol XDD if you want...I can show you a NICE beautiful icon someone made with the mutant spawn ^_^

  • Your videos make me all warm and fuzzy inside...

    :D

  • You're not fat and ugly! You look just great! :) People who are stupid enough to e-mail that crap, obviously don't have anything else to fight about than that! They're probably ugly themselves! Great video! You're a very intelligent person it seems! :)

  • ^_^ You're quite awesome and intelligent. I didn't notice that reason. Of course, I didn't read Breaking Dawn. Gracious, after all the things I heard... Aug. I liked watching your video though and enjoyed it. The Bella begging Edward for sex in the first three really sickened me actually, because I'm weird and have a bit of a phobia of sex. But it's not rape because girls can't rape MANLY MEN, they're not strong enough, XD There are people that believe that though. Great video! I loved it!

  • CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG!

  • your not fat and ugly

you look better than most small

    and skinny people

  • So I havent even finished the video yet but I had to pause it and comment cause I about fell off my computer chair laughing when you were discussing Bella drinking the blood and then the little blurb came up about why not give her the beer helmet and then Emmett being up for the drinking contest! Youre already my new favorite person! :)

  • All, thanks. See, I knew there was a reason that I keep these up. I've been hearing from the haters a lot lately, but it's so nice to hear from someone who gets it!

  • WHAT WHAT WHAT...

    I didn't comment this one :(

    I LURVES MAH FAUST!!!

    ♥ Galow

    :)

  • No offense- but if you think this is the best book on the face of the earth- you are so obviously retarded that your opinion means NOTHING to me.

Oh, what's that? The block button??? What happens when I click it?!

  • did you even watch the video?

  • How can you judge what the best book is if you haven't read anything else?

  • bella begs edwardo for SEX?! god, i gotta read this book!

    BTW, which book is it?

  • I'll only tell you if you promise to not read it!!!

Well, first... Bella begs for sex from the very beginning. But in Breaking Dawn she literally wakes up from a wet dream of hers and begs him, crying, to have sex with her and he does. And knocks her up.

    DON'T READ IT!!!!

  • wow... i don't think i will...

  • You'd think with a doctor in the family they'd have the IV thing all figured out...

I also think Jacob 'marking' the newborn baby as his soulmate was an interesting take on romance.

  • nice points but edward is described soo good looking that u cant help but love him.

  • Ooops! I deleted a comment I didn't mean to delete!

I was asked if I thought the book/series would have been better w/o sex. I don't know if I'd go that far, but scaling it back a little (so it wasn't ALL Bella EVERY thought about, or the only thing they seemed to have in common) would have been nice. It got SO old, and it really made me not like Bella, to be honest.

  • (I do think it made the story more realistic, though. Taking it out would have pissed more people off, they would have claimed she hated sex or thought it was dirty or whatever and blamed it on her religion.)

  • Thanks to everyone for the compliments. I wasn't fishing, I swear, but it's nice to hear anyway.

  • I've never even read the books but for some reason I couldn't stop watching your video! lol. Very interesting!

  • wtf who would say that about you ur very pretty!!!!

  • yeaah im such a young adult. i now want to go and drink some blood il steal and get irrationally pregnant. not,.

  • You can make all the negative comments you want. But I'd suggest using spelling, grammar and punctuation (they're your friends!) if you want ANYONE to take you remotely seriously. And why do you continue to watch my vids if you hate me so much?

Oh well. More views is better for me anyway! Thanks for the comment! :)

  • I don't hate you, juuust trying to understand why people don't like breaking dawn. That's why I watched the video, I was trying to get the other point of view :D You haven't swayed me, obviously, because I can't really see depth in any of your arguements, but hey, everyone has an opinion. But please don't be condescending like that, it's not like i was writing an essay. You're welcome.

  • I'm always shocked that people think SM's books are so great but can't see any "depth" in thought out arguments. Well, on the other hand, that does make a lot of sense...

Just making a comment or not, I'd hope you'd have more pride in your opinion and voice than to come off the way you in your first comment on this vid. (love the sarcasm, btw)

I did notice, however, that you haven't commented on the stats I put up in vid one proving you are WRONG about SM breaking records. Go check it out.

  • You're health and sexy

  • somewhere there is a painting of you and it is getting prettier

Family guy the clerks who set them selves on fire many of us are there

  • Actually, i'm going to correct you. She's given a plastic cup with a straw

    Nonetheless, I completely agree.

  • Right. Doesn't someone in the book call it a sippy cup, though? Anyway, it's a big joke with those of us on the dark side. And still totally gross, no matter how you look at it.

  • I think Jacob does? I don't know. Read the book for the lulz, and didn't even finish it. My friend said I should, for the lulz. Nah. XD;

    Yes, it is gross. =/

    All of it. =/

  • You make very good points of view and problems about the books. Breaking Dawn made me cringe a lot. It was more like an ending to a fairy tale than an ending to a novel. The issues about sexual relations are thick in the books (you just have to read in between the lines a lot). And the messages they send are not good for kids, and just like TV, books can have a negative affect on them and think all of those things are ok to do.

  • "Your own realistic standard of beauty"....wish Bella had one too. She basically only felt inferior to him because of her looks--she needed to grow up, and SMeyer never gave her that development. FAIL.

Thank you for making a calm, rational argument about the many, MANY pitfalls in this book. =) Fantastic.

  • I think you look fine! Ya so those people that put up rude comments... F**k them!!! so ya GREAT VID SO TRUE i really don't like breaking dawn that much! the other 3 books were fine but the last one... well it could of been better.

I may be young but i know a good book when i read it. breaking dawn was good but not the best if you get what i am sying!

  • Oh no, you're beautiful hun, don't listen to them.

But I think that the young adult age range is 16-21 college-level/content reading, the majority of rabid fangirls that beg and beg and beg for midnight sun are 10-14, books aren't as heavily filtered as movies are (AND THEY SHOULDN'T BE) I myself read Requiem for a Dream when I was 16, but yes, the demographic that's paying Smeyers bills are the 10-14 year old age-range, tweener at best. How it passes as young adult is beyond me.

  • Ya know what's the worst part of it? SM doesn't consider it YA. She says she has never written a YA book in her life. She thinks she's an adult who is just awesome at channeling her inner high schooler. Maybe it's because she ACTS like one all the time...

  • you smart girl .. very cute too (:

  • I really love you. =] <3 Ahaha. No really, you're clips are great! =3

And shame on those people who sent you insulting comments. How immature of them. =|

  • Whoever is sending you rude comments needs to fuck off. Unintelligent people have it as their default setting to spew out ugly/fat comments to anyone they find intimidating.

    They're idiots. You're awesome.

    P.S.

Are you a fellow member of Twatlight?

    :D

  • I am now! I just got accepted last night. :)

  • Awesome! My name on there is the same as it is on here. :)

  • Hmm I just checked this grand sex scene in BD and it seems the next morning Bella is a chicken being plucked by Edward. Man this series is lame.

  • I haven't read BD yet but what you were saying about her drinking the blood was interesting because the woman's body doubles its blood volume and the heart rate of a pregnant woman is about 100 bpm. If Stephenie Meyer did some research she could have had Bella's body produce extra blood to feed the baby with since it's a vampire baby. That would have made sense, right? Then of course we would miss out on the sippy cup stuff, but maybe I'm being too logical here.

  • Doesn't Smeyer, mother of 3, realize that a growing baby gets its nutrition from the mother's bloodstream? It's like she thinks the baby is sitting in there with a straw in its mouth with the other end sticking into Bella's stomach.

Thanks for making these videos. Sometimes Twilight non-fans can be really irrational, which is funny a lot of the time, but it's nice to hear somebody be very serious.

  • You're awesome. And by the way, I don't think you're fat or ugly. You are beautiful! Rock on. =D

  • Oh god, did you quote "Growing Up Cullen" at the end? I think I love you.

The blood-drinking always bothered me not because it was supposed to shock us, but because I kept picturing every single solitary time Bella would react to even a drop of blood, and yet she's chuggin' away at her cup of blood. I thought she could smell that stuff a mile away and faint.

  • Did I? I didn't mean to. (I actually haven't read that one. Yet.)

Thanks for all the love, though, everyone.

I swear that I don't erase hater comments. I just don't get any. Guess the fangurlz haven't heard of me yet.

  • You are absolutely wonderful and lovely. Your points are so articulately, but approachably, argued, and you just sound very intelligent.

  • So true! You're saying everything I've been thinking this entire time! :D

  • Aw, you look cute with a ponytail! (Sorry, I know, off topic XD)

Youtubers always go and attack posters for their looks, weight, etc. Glad that you aren't affected by it though ^^

  • aww, i think you're cute!

and all your points are dead-on!

  • i ♥ Heather!!!

  • I am with you all the way

  • (Please ignore my horrendous name, I made this account ages ago!)

Heather, you are my HERO. You've seriously transferred everything I could not say in words into something coherent!! You're also hilarious. "Stop imagining yourself doing it with my girlfriend, Scooby!!!" and the ENTIRE thing about Edward hearing everyone's thoughts during sex. I was literally lol'ing at this video (all your other videos are fantastic too!) I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!

  • Thanks. You guys are too kind to me.

I have one that should be out by lunch time tomorrow, and then maybe I'll make some more this weekend. It's so addicting!

  • LOL. I <3 your debate pop up! Also I'm a Team werewolf fan too and found the Scooby comment funny. xD

Please continue on with the videos!

  • It's also funny how in Twilight Bella was going on & on about her hand being vamptized, but when her mind thought her whole damn body was being burned, she was cool about it.

    Um.

    No.

& how we had three vampire couples going at it for decades, but not one of them noticed how the guy, um, creamed, the girl. Wouldn't it, like, gather up after a few years or something? Hmmph.

Anyways, I love the videos! Keep posting them please. xD

  • You're getting ahead of me. Video 4 will be done in a few hours (it takes FOREVER to upload this stuff!) and then we'll get to your first point. :)

  • AMAZING videos!! Keep up the good work!

Would you mind if I posted these in the Twilight_sucks LJ community? I think everyone there would really enjoy them :D

  • Absolutely. That's why I do it!!!

  • you're beautiful! forget the haters.

  • Did you just call MyJacob "Scooby?????" (Imw/thewerewolves here if you didn't catch that). ;)

  • Yup, I did. Come on... it was funny. And anyway, Edward told me to.

  • "The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction is supposed to make sense." ~ Tom Clancy

    :D

  • BEAUTIFUL quote. I'm going to use that one.

  • Isn't it, though?

Gotta love what REAL writers have to say about fiction and realism, eh?

  • But it's just fiction -- which is why they took a hike to Forks for fictional Bella's fictional birthday and imagine fictional Edward is their fictional boyfriend.

You're very pretty, by the way, so good for you ignoring the asshats who can't think of anything better to say.

So what was it that appealed to you in Twilight? In my opinion, the writing got better as she progressed through the series. Breaking Dawn was the strangest book, but not the worst. What had you lined up at midnight?

  • u rock thanks soooooooo much everthing i was thinking ever since that epic fail. :-)

  • Keep 'em coming Heather... and I'll be happy to work on your campaign when you decide to run for President! :-)

    The Taminator

  • Go Heather ... We lurve ewe. Charie

  • Rock on Faust! Rock on.
