Cinematically, the 80's were cool but strange: the movies have become a sub-genre on their own, aging well as the years roll by. Here we have the token nerds, the chunky punks and the skinny Charlie Sheen. Actors like Sheen, Depp, Michael J. Fox, Matt Dillon, etc, were all sex symbols without the six packs. Now we have pug-ugly guys juiced up and digitally altered. Anyway, this flick is balls-out 80's, all cars, guns and dumb-fun. Got my copy on DVD for $2:00.

MadMaxGamer suggested Clownhouse, but those clowns were just psychos who killed children--scary movie but unavailable on DVD last I checked since the director molested one of the kids in the cast. Killer Klowns is available though, I think.

The movie so good, I had to get it on DVD...TWICE!!!! Managed to snag up the Platinum DVD release, back in '04, then as soon as Lionsgate released the special edition, I jumped on that. I grew up watching this movie so many times, it's worth owning in any form. B-)

Great flick back in the day! Really liked it. It's sort of like a Clint Eastwood western "man-with-no-name" revenge film. You wouldve have to have seen it back in the day to appreciate this movie.

I saw this movie when it was first released on VHS. I was probably about 7 years old at the time. When I saw it with my dad, I thought it was the best movie on earth, but when I see the movie again at 31 ... I realize that the movie is just plain stupid and boring! I don't remember Charlie Sheen in the movie at all ... I guess that is how long ago it was for me ... LOL!

Man some of those effects look like they were either re-done or cleaned up really well. I don't remember the car glowing back into existence like that. And it looked good, not cheesy. Right after the explosion just after :35 seconds. Thanks for posting this. I think I bought the DVD a while back, I forgot since I went on a buying spree. I'll have to check and if not buy this one for sure. I love 60s 70s and 80s movies! Such unique story telling back then.
