Most of the "fans" that show up at games complaining that Crosby is a diver, are not real hockey fans. They're just fat asses who've never played hockey, but chose to support the team in their city because said team is/was good. Crosby dives, no doubt, but I have no sympathy for these fat fucks that paint their faces and pretend to know anything about hockey. Ok first, Crosby is smaller than most the defensemen in the NHL. He's 5'11 180 pounds. No matter how much strength he has in his legs, a stick in front of him will still get him tripped up. He isn't diving. When Crosby came into the league the first game he had against the Flyers is when it all started. It was a way of the Flyers trying to get in Crosby's head. One of the Flyers player yelled at the ref the second game that Crosby was diving. The refs watched the replay and he wasnt. So shut up.
