  • They're gonna' need more cobras.

  • In the UK they changed his name to Sgt Slammer, at least for the Action Force movie, which sucks.

  • one dollar handling charge. absurd

  • Sgt. Slaughter wishes he was as ripped as his cartoon counterpart,

  • i ran right out and bought 4 gi joes to get the this wish i still had it. worth a little bit of money i bet.

  • i wish they still sold these

  • @MegaBatproductions they still made gi joes. the 20th anniversary 1s and even b4 then they still had em off and on. though now their 8. 97 for 1 joe. back in the 90s they were 2. 57 or something like that

  • Either Slaughter is so cool, you can't buy him or not cool.

  • maybe it's a british thing but I never saw the appeal of that man

  • Not even Sgt. Slaughter could save that train wreck of a movie "GI Joe: The Rise of cobra." Good thing he wasn't in it.

  • @pyrogyra72

DROP AND GIVE ME TWENTY MAGGOT

  • Some of you may not realize this, but Sgt Slaughter is a real person.

  • Sgt. Slaughter is Slaughter, Texas Ranger.

  • And now there's 30 Paragraphs in a print size that can't be read on a 1080 TV for the 3 seconds it's displayed, on any contest / commercial today.

  • I earned mine! Yo Joe!

  • I sent away for one! Still have him.

    Man I loved the 80s

  • Yes I had this! I saved up the certificates and everything.

  • Sgt. Slaughter was easily my favourite Joe. The Cobra forces were generally a lot more compelling than the Joes.

  • I agree completely with the toy comment- I think the 80's were the best time for toy manufacture, due to the the fact there was so much choice and variety in both the boys and girls markets, and they had a lot of innovative products at the time.

Nowadays, it's all cheaply produced replications, where the manufacturers stuff them into children's magazines and catalogues to make them look attractive, but are so poorly designed they last about 5 minutes and cost extornate amounts!

  • how'd Slaughter become a GiJoe anyway?

  • @nocturned85 Joes were getting soft. Falcon called for Slaughter' help. In fact, Slaughter beat Cobra by himself.

  • i still have mine Goooooooooooo Joe!

  • The 1980's. The greatest time to be a kid.

  • Dont worry! The 80s are coming back!

  • @v1per187 When and where ?! :O

  • @v1per187 Uh...yeah, no.

  • agreed evenm the toys were at top quality unlike now transformers are made of plastic back then you can get one in die cast metal

  • agreed

  • OMG its sure was.. You CANT beat the 80's. NOWAY!

  • @NYPrimrose amen to that

  • @NYPrimrose

    yes it was

  • Aw man, it's already expired. :(

  • lol THAT was funny!

  • I think things like this, more than my growing older, really killed my interest in G.I. Joe. Even at that age I saw Sgt. Slaughter suddenly in G.I. Joe and thought, wth, a WWF wrestler riding a combat version of a pulling contest tractor?? Joe toys and cartoons had been relatively "realistic" up until then, but suddenly we had Slaughter and Serpentor and pogo-pods...

  • Relatively realistic? I hate to bring this up, but how does a show with laser rifles and zero deaths on either side of a massive war qualify as realistic?

  • The Online cartoons of G.I Joe, Snake Eyes is killing Cobra guys left and right.

You need to check out those cartoons. I think someone has posted a couple of mini epsiodes here on Youtube.

  • i bet the kids who saw those commercials and got those toys were realy disapointed durring the gulf war when he "betrayed" america

  • WATTAYA MEAN I WANNA KNOW

  • @cocoromoo I forgot that Sgt. Slaughter turned heel and sided with the Iraqis.

  • @pyrogyra72 He did in 1991, and then he turned face again when he finally realizes he betrayed America.

  • @HalifaxHercules I remember that betrayal, everyone went nuts about that.

  • AHH SIGH.........THOSE WERE THE DAYS

  • Yeah I know

  • The cartoon really went downhill when they started adding in these guys like Sargent Slaughter.

  • why do you hate the troops?

  • Remember Ship Wreck? He sucked, bad. Too bad he didn't drown with his "wrecked ship"

  • i think that was one of the most times that kids called in an racked in a fourtne for hasbro.
